That's kind of how I felt about what I was doing, a lot of shit hit the fan.

Here in Australia you can be a fully qualified chef in 3 years now, and be hired to run your own kitchen. Unfortunately, the education side of the apprenticeship system just isn't adequate. If you wind up on the job in a place where you didn't learn a hell of a lot that is relevant elsewhere despite working your ass off when you start shuffling through new jobs for various reasons you wind up stuck. It would seem its happened to a lot of people and I just happened to get caught up short almost 2 and a half years through completing it.

Sucks, but there is not much I can do.
