doesn't it kind of defeat the purpose of calling him questo for short, if it's the same amount of syllables as the original, questlove ???
I'm just wondering, did you sit there and clap while saying it to figure that out?

KWG 10-30-2005 07:39 PM

I got a pod...2nd gen 15 gig....had to get it replaced once and soon again. I hate the thing so much. Its done well but when i think of it i'd rather had spent the 400$ on parts for a awesome stereo system. Like a record player or reciever. Because those will last you a long time( im using my dads from when he was 15 and it still sounds great)

Dunmore 10-30-2005 08:02 PM

Ya im getting a Zen, i wanted a Nano, but have you seen what is happening to all of them? the screens break in your pocket becaouse of a bad design! so ya Zen it is, and i love being able to rip in losless format unlike 128kbs like ipod ya like 1200 with Zen

poppinfresh 10-30-2005 08:06 PM

^^^
yes thank you

look into the zen sleek, really nice design, but make sure you make a list of features because a lot of people were complaing because not all the features of the zen xtra were transfered over to the zen touch, i dont know about the zen sleek though, i have only come across it recently when i saw it in a store.

haha no i never got into the whole "clap to syllables" thing. amazingly, i can multi-task. most of my friends clap though, it's pretty bad.

who here claps to syllables?

KWG 10-30-2005 08:19 PM

clapping along to syllables in words. for example, with the word "water", you would clap when you say "wa" and when you say "ter", giving you 2 claps for the word. it's something they taught us back in grade 2.

KWG 10-30-2005 08:36 PM

oh what, never heard of that....CRAZY!!!

ELP is amazing, same with King Crimson!

puppet.master 10-30-2005 09:02 PM

Yeah, and it's bothering me!

rockindrummer 10-30-2005 09:15 PM

Nope not for me.

Win A Rabbit 10-30-2005 09:19 PM

oh, today, me and my friends went into mcdonalds, and we started calling everything "mc_______" like the mcmenu, the mcdrinks, etc. we continued to name everything for about an hour afterwards. while extremely childish, some of them were actually giggle-worthy. plus, it annoyed everyone else, so that gave it bonus giggle points.

well my family's quite annoying, so i'm going to go lay down and listen to some music. i may just head off to bed, since i am exhausted.

puppet.master 10-30-2005 09:32 PM

Hi, I'm Will Hendrix, I'm 16, and I'm from Maryland (US). I've been playing for 3 1/2 years, and I mainly listen to metal, with some slight interests in jazz, and some chill out stuff. My favorite bands are Opeth, Nile, Sepultura, Dredg, Miles Davis, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Mayhem, Suffocation, etc, etc. Some of my favorite drummers are Igor Cavalera, John Bonham, Hellhammer, Mike Smith, Tony Laureano, Mitch Mitchell, Bill Ward, Martin Lopez, Micheal Zerang, and many others.
awesome, where in maryland? i live right outside annapolis. anyway with the info:
my name is kevin jones. im 13 turning 14 this may(the 15th), im about 5'6" currently i play on my stepdad's pearl masters custom kit but im getting my own for x-mas, it will either be a tama or a sonor(1005). i have been playing drums for somewhere like 3-5 months. stuff i am interested in: cars(tuner cars/imports), girls, anything drum kits pretty much, sports(football baseball and basketball) uhh yeah....:thumb:

music i listen to: pretty much all kinds of rock, such as: smile empty soul, brand new, hendrix, metallica, slipknot, chimaira, tool, nirvana, greenday, lost prophets and an assload more...yeah pretty much all rock type stuff

Can someone get me specs of Pearts set? I cant find it anywhere.

puppet.master 10-30-2005 10:03 PM

jim probably knows

Double Bass Jim 10-30-2005 10:16 PM
Can someone get me specs of Pearts set? I cant find it anywhere.
His new one?

I think it's an 8,10,12,13 Mounted toms,15" first on the right(floor) 2 16" (floors) and an 18" suspended(floor). 22x18" kick, 13x3 piccolo snare, DW pedals and the paragons of course.

I don't think his drum sizes have changed since the test for echo kit.

I don't care much for the DW set ups he has, the olders ones were ALOT better imo. The red tama and the white ludwig kit where my fav's of his.

puppet.master 10-30-2005 10:17 PM

sweet i was rights

Brokensticks 10-30-2005 10:21 PM

Of course DBJ would know it. He is like the god of these forums :p

Double Bass Jim 10-30-2005 10:24 PM

The specs may not be exact, im going by memory from the T4E kit which is the same as the new custom DW.

bobby__johnny 10-30-2005 10:36 PM
