There's a list there, but the most notable bands for me are Overkill, Suffocation, and Accept.

EDIT: Metal Church and Obituary are playing too! :chug:

ForiegnPenguin 05-28-2005 08:20 PM

I would kill to go to that. RCA, you lucky man.

I've heard a few songs from Annihilator's Alice in Hell and Never, Neverland, which are in a two pack for half price. I think I'm going to try and get these soon, anyone wanna stop me?

RCA 05-29-2005 10:44 AM

Alice In Hell is good; Never, Neverland will leave you disappointed.

its worth it. Don't get any more Annhilator albums after those though.

My thoughts exactly :)

First Strike Still Deadly finally came yesterday, it kicks major amounts of ass imo. I find the songs slightly heavier than the origional recordings. Anyway, if you don't have this album, you should definitely add it to your collection :D

RCA 05-29-2005 05:45 PM

Just looked at your usetitle Slatanic, and I'm listening to that song!

What a great song.

Edit- I haven't bought a thrash album in while, any recommendations?

I was thinking about it, but I never got around to getting it x_x.

I picked up Persecution Mania just yesterday though, and bought a Venom wallet today. The guy even threw in the chain for free.

Probably because I always buy stuff from his cart out at the mall

I downloaded this, it is pretty good, but they seem to have slowed down some of the songs to around 85% speed, which sucks.

Venom wallet \m/(>_<)\m/

RCA 05-29-2005 09:18 PM

Yeah, I make vulgar remarks about the speed of FSSD every time I hear it. I may not like Testament a whole lot, but the songs I do like are reproduced poorly on that release. Except for Reign of Zetro's Terror and The Preacher; those remakes are better than the originals.

Apocalyptic Raids 05-30-2005 01:07 AM

Alone In The Dark was way better with Zetro too.

I really dig the solos on there, they just seem to come out of nowhere after that melody. It looks really cool on Wrecking Everything also, with the strobe(sp.) effects :D

I didn't think First Strike Still Deadly is that good, mind you i don't think a lot of Testament.

It's like every song had a lot of special effects. Especially with Necroshine and Deny The Cross.

Except Powersurge is one of my favorite 'Kill songs. :D
