though the scene where he finds that weird ceremony with all the masks reminded me of one of the scenes from the ninth gate

i havent seen it but it has nicole kidman and tom cruise, so it definitely sucks

and though eraserhead's good it's vastly overrated.
not a fan of elephant man either
or anything outside of his early works.

I put off watching it for the longest time cause they were the leads but running through his filmography I really think it is as good if not better then anything else he has done

[I]The Shining[/I] is his weakest to me but I peg it more to being an incompatible Stephen King adaption over what he did with it. Jack Nicholson is great.

Thought I hold Kubrick in much higher esteem than I do King I actually loved the book and thought the movie did it a disservice, go figure.

twin peaks isn't great but it's an interesting time capsule, i was recommended it by a friend who really likes david lynch and followed it when it was on and loved it, i think i would have appreciated it more if i had watched it when it was originally on
