I just realized that 4 days ago, I've been on mx for a year. So, yay for me. But I must admit a pathetic postcount compared to other Alt/Indie contributors who have been here for less than a year. (see: Canadian-guy, morrissey)

Iai 06-18-2005 06:50 AM

So I had an interesting day yesterday.

Spent 4 hours in college revising with this girl (yes, we have history). Except we didn't revise at all, we just talked/insulted each other/listened to music the whole time. Then after work I went into town to play pool, but ended up hooking up with a few guys from my college that I haven't seen in a year (they went to Uni last September, and just got back). Then I played a few games of pool with 2 of my friends, who I'm quickly realising are 2 of the only non-****ed-up friends I have. I love hanging out with those guys. I whined about my love life and then we discussed our plans for Reading. Twas kewl.

br3ad_man 06-18-2005 06:57 AM

If lived near you Iai, I'd come and give you a big hug.

Iai 06-18-2005 07:28 AM

I also found out that one of the girls who I hadn't seen in a year is related to the guy I caught my girlfriend kissing last week. We swapped dates and found out some interesting stuff.

pixiesfanyo 06-18-2005 07:48 AM

I don't kiss on first dates.
Lovely :) Would you care to elaborate?

I'm getting a new computer tomorrow which I'll use only for recording. This is going to be the best holidays.
hmm.. well I saw the boy I fancy last night and I was somewhat curious to see how the night was going to go because I dont know if this boy feels the same. Anyways, I had alot of fun, met some new people, and ended up getting in a crazy wrestling match with him (he was shirtless ) among other things and feeling wonderful and happy and having lots of fun, but still nervous about whether I should get the balls to ask him to a Sadie Hawkins dance next month :/ .

Wanker 06-18-2005 11:16 AM

Ask him, but give it some more time if you think you need it.

Just make sure no one asks him before you do.

He'll say yes, I'm sure.

I think I'll wait a week or so; he might be going to see Unwed Sailor (great post-rock band [similar to EITS], you should check them out if you havent already) with us Monday and then I'm thinking I'll see him again on Friday so if all goes well.....

If anyone asks him before me, they will die.
pics?
i wish.

Or you could just promise him some action.

Then he'll probably choose you over her.

biografiend 06-18-2005 11:44 AM

Wanker 06-18-2005 11:55 AM

But seriously.

biografiend 06-18-2005 11:58 AM

No worries; these goodies stay in the jar.*

*rap song lol

EDIT: 500 page snypa

Wanker 06-18-2005 11:59 AM

OMG you took it.

I wanted that sweet snype-opp.

/waits until page 1000

Glitterati 06-18-2005 12:56 PM

big69 snypes practically every page in the pit. Him and Eggo.

Ahhhhh.....I just woke up. I hate mornings. Even though it's 11:43. However, a good MX is a good start to any day.

np: Ted Nugent - Cat Scratch Fever

biografiend 06-18-2005 04:19 PM

I have Cat Scratch Fever on 8track.

I just got up from my nap, and I am more sore from last nights wrestling than I was when I got up this morning. ouch.

Wanker 06-18-2005 04:26 PM

Did you suplex his ass?

biografiend 06-18-2005 04:41 PM

No :( . I am as sly as a fucking fox so it took awhile for him to actually pin me. I did get picked up/thrown down alot which I imagine is where alot of my soreness came from. I was a pinching wrangling machine, but he ended up sitting on me and I couldnt get up.

Or maybe I was just too distracted by his sweaty, shirtless bod. who knows.

Zmev 06-18-2005 04:59 PM

I had a mini "wrestling" match with my friend last night, he's way stronger than me but I got him in a figure 4, and there was no escape for him.

Interstate 06-18-2005 05:03 PM

I've listened to The Magic Numbers album for the first time today (yes I know it's ages after everyone else) :p - brilliant album! I will hopefully book a ticket to see them in concert when I get paid this friday -that is, if there are still tickets.

Zmev 06-18-2005 05:05 PM

I have the new Shpongle album on one file, its weird seeing "1 song 1.1 hours".

I think it's really funny when adolescents of the opposite sex fight or wrestle as a replacement for fuzzier forms of physical contact. It's cute.

It's what you do when you're too young to know the correct way to grab someone's ass and say, "How you doin'?"

Zappa 06-18-2005 05:27 PM

I know. I've been there myself.

superpeer 06-18-2005 05:34 PM

It's strange how whenever I enter the Pit I have this compulsive urge to post like a retard half the time.

oh my..

Same here. It's more relaxed here.

/sets up lawnchair and small stereo.

My ass hurts from this stool in front of my computer.

I gotta grab a chair :(

I wish I had a wireless keyboard.

Glitterati 06-18-2005 10:50 PM

OMG.....Heat is starting on History Channel! I love this movie. Must watch. Report back during commercial breaks.

br3ad_man 06-18-2005 11:15 PM

I started an Electronica project today with my new keyboard and Reason. I might put some stuff up later. I went to this really small Anglican church with my friend this morning and there's no one under 70 there. Seriously. It was so fun, old people are champions.

My great-grandpa turned 100 in January. He likes Lego

Zappa 06-18-2005 11:57 PM

I know, let's talk about barely alive elderly folks.

Or let's talk about sandwiches.

br3ad_man 06-18-2005 11:59 PM

I like having sandwiches that are made out of toast instead of normal bread. Especially when they have ham, cheese, tomato and butter. Yum.

Glitterati 06-19-2005 12:02 AM

I had an awesome toast sandwhich this morning. A bagel with peanut butter. 'Twas good. Tim Hortons has excellent sandwhiches, too.

I also had a delicious snypa.

biografiend 06-19-2005 12:04 AM

I had a ham and turkey sandwich for dinner with lettuce and tomato on it. tasty.

my great-grandma turned 95 this year, and she just recently discovered what chicken mcnuggets were.
