it doesn't like cold starts, I have to hook it up to a car battery or give it a push start to get it going.

after this, it runs pretty good and I can turn it on and off again. the whole thing has been pulled apart by a mechanic friend of mine who has determined it is something electrical, probably in the starter motor

gaslight 07-02-2009 12:03 AM

There's something awesome about having to push start.

Reminds me of Little Miss Sunshine.

Who is prime possum?
I just bought CDs. Like, legitimately acquired CDs.

gaslight 07-02-2009 12:19 AM

It's good to buy CDs now and then.

I ordered some from CD baby about a week ago.

Horrific rip-off as you'd expect ordering from America but it's good for the soul to throw people a bone now and then.

Prime Possum is horseman.

Aaron 07-02-2009 12:22 AM

I've decided to even out my occasional downloading of CDs [I've only ever downloaded like 20 albums that i've kept on my computer] I'll go to half the same amount of gigs to support artists. Fair?

gaslight 07-02-2009 12:27 AM

Depends what gigs you go to I guess.

Buying things direct from the artist is the best way to support them if possible.

Aaron 07-02-2009 12:30 AM

As Evan et al will attest to, I'm a terrible merch whore so I do that anyway. I buy about 15 or 20 tees or hoodies a year.

Aaron 07-02-2009 12:32 AM

ps. these are the albums I bought:
1) The Dillinger Escape Plan & Mike Patton - Irony Is A Dead Scene EP
2) Fucked Up - The Chemistry of Common Life
3) Underoath - Define The Great Line

Meatplow 07-02-2009 12:37 AM

i have about 5 or 6 different shirts I have been wearing for the past 5 years

gaslight 07-02-2009 12:39 AM

Haha nice.

Yeah shirts and things are a great way to make money as long as you can afford a big enough order for the unit price to be down.

I'm going to design some cool Tiger Panic shirts, want one? :p

Aaron 07-02-2009 12:42 AM

Yeah, I'll get on it. Make them black with two colours [I'd suggest white and red].

Sally did my washing the other day [I'm the man] and she counted 76 t-shirts, 43 being black.

Meatplow 07-02-2009 12:50 AM

you must be some kind of fashion trend whore

gaslight 07-02-2009 01:33 AM

Is that your favourite colour combination?

prime possum 07-02-2009 01:38 AM

biggest metrosexual in the game

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 07-02-2009 02:07 AM

i like my fashion.

all my shirts/hoodies are from concerts (about 70)

gaslight 07-02-2009 02:50 AM

Hopefully I can come up with a Tiger Panic or Tiger Panic Records shirt design that you will all wish to adorn yourselves with. I've gotta see what kind of quality my printer can do, it's supposed to good with transfer paper but I won't trust it till I've done a test one and lived in it for about a month with washing and all.

nevertoolate 07-02-2009 02:52 AM

fashionable men up in here tonight!! You'll have to throw some of those out at some point thats waaaaaay too many over 70 for both of you!!

gaslight 07-02-2009 02:53 AM

Yeah man the most worrying part is that like 70+ shirts were being washed at once, which means 70+ were dirty?

So possibly, you go 70 days between wash cycles which actually sounds pretty awesome especially when a woman is doing it for you. In fact you can wear shirts like two or three times without washing so you're looking at like 210 days between wash cycles.

Awesome.

Meatplow 07-02-2009 03:01 AM

blooody poooftas

i haven't heard a good aussie white trash bloke say that for a long time

nevertoolate 07-02-2009 03:03 AM

lol, very funny

@gas you make a great point. and I spose they last longer coz they wont fade too much by not being washed much.
I was pretty stoked the other day when I stumbled across a couple of old school Vision Street Wear hoodies, I last had one when I was 13!!

gaslight 07-02-2009 03:04 AM

Haha I tend to say "fags" instead, I'm not really white trash enough to pull off saying pooftas. I don't even know how to spell it.

nevertoolate 07-02-2009 03:08 AM

i find the term whoopsie to be pretty funny

gaslight 07-02-2009 03:10 AM

Haha that's awesome I've never thought of calling someone a whoopsie. That's genius.

I called Joel a big goose the other day I think that was the first time I've used that one.

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 07-02-2009 03:12 AM

lol whoopsie, that should be said when you do something wrong.

or just whoops

Meatplow 07-02-2009 03:12 AM

stan zemanek used to say horses hoofta and my dad always said that

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-mdKFF78IQ

gaslight 07-02-2009 03:16 AM

Haha Stan Zemanek. What an unpopular man.

nevertoolate 07-02-2009 03:23 AM

I've used big goose quite a lot, i like calling people clowns too

gaslight 07-02-2009 03:29 AM

If you can get the right situation, calling a guy a big girl is golden. You have to time the phrase right though otherwise it makes it sound like you're calling them a fat chick.

prime possum 07-02-2009 03:35 AM

you dont have to have a long neck to be a goose guys
and while we're on the topic of stupid old man sayings

'you cant put brains into monuments'
'youre lower than a snakes arse'
