Hmm, I know you weren't asking me but I figured I'd give my 2cents (not that I don't like them, I'm just giving reasons that they're not as good as they could be)

-Ocassional awkward, forced transitions that disrupt the flow of the song
-Some of their riffs during vocal bars are dull
-They don't really pull of alot their tech-y parts too well
-Some songs are pretty repetitive and drawn out

they really have alot of potential though.

I listened to the songs on their myspace and their vocals didn't stand out as much as you people praise.

Sure he might be able to pull off stuff that is hard to do or whatever, but it sounds bland and forgettable.

Even if you're not into his style, you just can't say he sucks. The things that man does with his voice are incredible... like, I pray to God that I can one day be one tenth as good as him.

he's holy****ingshit amazing live. He switches it up so much it's unbelievable.

The only bad part about his live performance is that he doesn't pronounce words too well with his lows.

btw mappy, can you tell if he inhales or exhales his highs? My lows sound almost exactly like his (I inhale), but I can't get anything close to his high.

His lows sound so ungodly brutal live though.

Troy and Josh (bassist and guitarist) just stand there for the most part but Travis is a ****ing madman on stage.

It was just some guys in my science class last year who went to Summer Slaughter, most of them have crap taste in music though so you're probably right.

I would never buy a Cattle Decapitation album, but i don't mind seeing them live.

Their name is The Red Shore, idk much about them, just that they were on tour with All Shall Perish and that their merch guy died too.

It grew on me after a while. I think the vocals were a vast improvement from Winds of Creation.
