Depends what you want really, I used Firefox out of familiarity and reliability.

Opera has loads of extras like torrenting, email etc but I prefer to do that separately. Their speed-dial thing was cool though. Most awesome things you see/use in a browser originated from Opera.

I used Chrome briefly but didn't like the interface. It's security is top notch tho and it was probably the fastest browser I used.

Explorer is a piece of shit.

Only ever used Opera on a phone once because apparently it was an 'upgrade' to nokia's standard browser. Which it probably would have been if it didn't use bloody tabbed browsing >.< - also nokias suck balls anyway. They should never have entered the smartphone market, symbian is possibly the worst OS I've ever come across...

I was wondering, Lod, what are you opinions on Black Ops? Been playing it loads recently and I really like it, probably one of the best games I own, for both single and multiplayer.... quite a few people I know say they think it's crap though, wondering what the reasoning is...

Well, that's the thing, I didn't use it. I installed it, realised it used tabbed browsing, and stopped using it.

Not sure if 'tabbed browsing' is the right term actually, what I mean is where rather than having a cursor, you switch between links on a page in a certain direction...

I especially like wager matches on Black ops. Usually get my ass handed to me but managed to come first in a One In Chamber match \m/

Black Ops - Good MP but not as good as Battlefield Bad Company 2.
Good SP but not as good as Medal of Honour.

The single player campaign in Black Ops is ok but the multiplayer sucks massive donkey dick, it's definitely the worst of any CoD. Bad Company 2 has far better multiplayer.

I'm nerding out with a book about Visual FoxPro (retro), been reading up a lot lately on SQL and PHP cause that side of my net expertise sucks. And I really want a job in web development/database management so I kinda need it.

I never did computer science or anything so have no real-world experience at any of this but I think I have enough know how (as well as resources and where to go to learn more) to secure a job in it, it's just so hard to land an interview when your CV doesn't have any related stuff on it.

Yeah, lack of experience is killing me with half the jobs I'm looking at. No bar experience, no telesales experience, etc. I'm just going to sign up to every agency there is, at least I can make some money, even if it is a shit job.

I have a shit job now, well, it's a piece of piss, laid back, and everyone is cool, but it's going nowhere.

I found a trainee Database Admin position though; good money, excellent training etc, gonna tart up my C.V and apply methinks. It's at least 45 mins drive though, but if I get it i'd be happy to relocate.

I live at home with my rents, I work basically in an admin job; producing reports and filing them accordingly in databases. All easy stuff for poor pay. I left an 18k a year job cause I despised it; my parents are pretty annoyed about that and even more so that I flat out refused to do supply-teaching (i'm a qualified teacher), in favour of a much lower and less paid job.
