sorry, but i hate anesthesia. it is annoying. besides i'm a rock person, not metal. whick is why i like albums black - s and m.

I like The call of Ktulu
Creeping death and
through the never
dude, don't worry im not judging you on your "musical taste or preference." i'm just implying that you should take a second listen to them and really understand and listen for the metal/rock brilliance behind them. these songs are one of the many that kickstarted metal, and molded the meaning and exptency of the word "metal" as we know it.

guitarcreep13 11-27-2004 08:57 PM

alright, i'll do it now. be back soon!

guitarcreep13 11-27-2004 09:03 PM

Fade To Black is amazing musicianship at work.
Same as Orion, I cannot believe you don't like Orion...

it sounds complicated, but actually its just 4 different chords with different finger picking patterns.

ExitSandman 11-27-2004 09:46 PM

Song: The Unforgiven
Misheard Lyric: New blood joins this earth, and quickly he's a dude
Real Lyric: New blood joins this earth, and quickly he's subdued

LMAO!!!

guitarcreep13 11-27-2004 09:50 PM

That's hilarious  People who actually think those are the real words to Metallica's songs are seriously sniffing glue or something. lol.

LifeIsDandy 11-27-2004 09:56 PM

Song: Fuel
Misheard Lyric: Gimme Fuel, gimme fire, gimme donuts on the fire.
Real Lyric: Gimme fuel, gimme fire, gimme that which I desire

Wow, just when I thought i've heard them all. On the other hand, Mmmm...donuts.

guitarcreep13 11-27-2004 09:57 PM

oh! nevermind! I got the lamo. I thought Lamo stood for something Like:

L ame
A ssheads
M oonig
O ld people...

stupid example though

guitarcreep13 11-27-2004 10:51 PM

Song: The Unforgiven
Misheard Lyric: Through constipated grace
Real Lyric: Through constant pained disgrace

that was the best one

they're pretty funny in the sense that yah, those words said really fast would sound like the "misheard lyric." listen to the songs, they don't sound like that at all. pretty funny tho, creative.

metallicafan501 11-28-2004 12:18 AM
who here knows about the new album metallica is planning to record in Feb. or Mar. 2005? i just found out about it yesterday so i dont know if its old.
if u dont believe what i said up there or just need to confirm what u read is true then do this:1-google the word metallica,2-go to the site labeled Enyclopedia Metallica,3-there should be an article on the home page about the new album.

encyclopedia metallica is a better fucking site than metallica.com. it doesnt even mention anything about the new album.

Huber 11-28-2004 02:37 AM

Some of those misheard lyrics are just incredibly stupid...

Song: Fuel
Misheard Lyric: Gimme Fuel, gimme fire, gimme donuts on the fire.
Real Lyric: Gimme fuel, gimme fire, gimme that which I desire

Donuts on the fire? That's not even how you cook donuts!

Song: Fuel
Misheard Lyric: F*ck a man white knuckles tight
Real Lyric: F*ck 'em man white knuckles tight

Last I checked, all the members of Metallica were straight.

Song: I Disappear
Misheard Lyric: I'm pain, I'm hope, I'm supper
Real Lyric: I'm pain, I'm hope, I'm suffer

Randomly throwing in a synonym for dinner in a serious line like that should have imediately made anyone jump on the internet and look up the lyrics.

Song: One
Misheard Lyric: Tied to machines that make me pee
Real Lyric: Tied to machines that make me be

Unless Metallica had some kind of urinary problems, I don't see where anyone could see that matching the subject of a song like "One"

Song: Dyers Eve
Misheard Lyric: Up Jack's Butt I feel for you
Real Lyric: Undying spite I feel for you

METALLICA IS NOT GAY FOR CHRIST SAKES!

Song: Master of Puppets
Misheard Lyric: Twisting your mind smash into trees
Real Lyric: Twisting your mind smashing your dreams

I don't have much to say about this. I just thought about how funny it would be to hear the song actually sung like that.

Song: The Unforgiven
Misheard Lyric: New blood joins this earth, and quickly he's a dude
Real Lyric: New blood joins this earth, and quickly he's subdued

Oh, duh, because transexuals are unforgiven. I get it now.

-------

That was a good read. Pretty funny stuff

yes u can all thank me later. it also said something like this will be the first album where Robert Trujillo will play or something like that. i pray for a new instrumental (ala to live is to die) and perhaps put a studio version of minus human and no leaf clover. that would be awesome.
