i totally fukking agree man. I hate going to bars. The whole "easy" crowd is not my thing. Id rather look in a library or church. At least you know they are clean

The local bars here aren't that great unfortunately. The patrons are always either middle-aged sports fanatics watching a Ravens game, or frat boys trying to elbalm themselves with JD.

The way to tell if someone is joking in text is the simple utilisation of the :p smiley.

Bars aren't just for the "easy" crowd. My sisters both go to bars all the time, and neither of them are whores, a lot of girls just enjoy to drink alchohol.

It's just that I'm very stubborn. I respect that my friends and family all have their own responsibilities, and that none of their own lives revolve around me. Why should a girlfriend be any different? She has her own life, or at least she should.

And if I'm going to be dating her, she should respect the fact that I have my own life as well. I have my own goals, ambitions, and responsibilities.

I think you're misinterpreting me. I'm not so selfish that I would never do anything for my girlfriend. But if she does ask things of me, I expect it to be reasonable.

I don't make unreasonable demands on my own friends and family. We can all take care of ourselves.

Let's say for example my hypothetical girlfriend is having a really bad day. She calls me up and says she needs some comforting. That's fine. I'll drop what I'm doing, grab a movie I have that she likes, and be right over there.

Conversely, let's say I'm dating a woman who tells me that despite the fact that I'm on a very tight budget while I'm here at school, she wants to go out once a week and expects me to cover the check for the both of us everytime, I'm going to flat out tell her "No."

Haha, most girls aren't that extreme, but make sure you find one that has dated before. I have dated a girl who never had a boyfriend before, i turned out to be a huge mess.

I can definitely agree with that. Now I'm not that stingy, if I'm unusually wealthy at the time, sure, I might pay for the girl. The way I see it, it's a relationship between equals and it's crazy that one should carry all the expenses.

When a girl expects things like that, just tell her to go to the kitchen and cook you a meal and clean your room after that. After all, paying for your own things is a part of emancipation as well, so either you take all of it, or you take none.

Anyway, it's hard to find a girl who gives you a lot of freedom, girls need a lot of attention and often they find it difficult to understand you need time for yourself and blabla.
