Loyton 10-02-2005 06:06 PM

Drum Phil 10-02-2005 06:10 PM

Loyton 10-02-2005 06:15 PM
BB what reso's do you have on your toms now?
I got clear ambs under smooth white emps.... its sounds terrible, really dead!

bobby__johnny 10-02-2005 08:22 PM
i'm sure they all have minimal different effects, but what i've noticed is that alcohol in general will magnify whatever emotions you felt before you drank. for example, if you're mad at someone, you're going to want to fight them once you're drunk. if you're sad, you'll be an emotional wreck once you're drunk. you get the idea. (of course this doesn't happen all the time, but from what i've seen, this is generally the case)

i know that things like absinthe will make you hallucinate. man i want some absinthe.
either way, the alcohol supresses your reactions to all stimulants. the very essence of the drug is a drepressant. thats why you stumble, get dizzy, and such

as far as its effects, like this quote, your initial state of mind, but also your surroudings play a role too

as for absinthe....man...your crazy

Massik Kretal 10-02-2005 09:17 PM

Absinth isnt that bad. My brother had it with his friends. He didn't see anything wierd.

Ok took care of it :)

Loyton 10-02-2005 09:32 PM

Yea well theres a difference between real absinth and the BS they pass off as absinth these days.... they put green food coloring in vodka and lame things like that. The REAL stuff is green from the plant, and is really really REALLY hard to get your hands on these days. Also, your supossed to do it correctly with the sugar plate and all that for the whole 9 yards.

Double Bass Jim 10-02-2005 09:48 PM

3 words.

Don't do it.

Massik Kretal 10-02-2005 09:51 PM

My brother got the real one. We got it from an absinth bar in france.

metalmilitia101 10-02-2005 10:48 PM

poppinfresh 10-02-2005 10:50 PM

no this is for general discussion

but i have two
my 20 hhx prototype ride that i got custom made
and my 18 in signature fast crash.

Double Bass Jim 10-02-2005 10:51 PM

I don't really have a fav cymbal, but I can't forget the first time I hit an EVO ride... DAMN

poppinfresh 10-02-2005 10:53 PM

i remember when i went in to get my aa metal x ride, i tried the dry crisp a week before and the guy told me once i get this i wont need to replace it this is top of the line. Then i went in and i completely forgot about it, i played the aa metal x and thought OMG thats prefect and bought it and left.
