i once played a limited edition b4 - absolutely gorgeous bass, sounded great too, but the finish on top was just so beautiful, poplar burl or something similar

Yeh, I gots me a Metallica Vault password. You can download a bunch of their concerts for free. Some are better than others, but this one I downloaded at the moment is from 2003, so its a sound-desk recording, not a bootleg. And Hetfield's voice sounds so much better nowadays too.
