Achilles, Botch, the Minor Times and Architect all disagree. Granted, two of those bands broke up, but still recorded their best stuff after 2000.

I was making fun of RetiredAt21. I actually don't like all that much 90's metalcore.

nah man Misery Signals DO sound nearly identical to 7A7P.

Architects, Buried Inside and Oh, Sleeper have all made great albums in the last 4 years or so. They'll be future classics one day.

But one thing I can't disagree with on terms of classic amazing albums, the stuff of the 90's > present day.

i totally agree that the 90's scene was more heil worthy, but there's still great stuff... Intronaut, Swarm Of The Lotus, Misery Signals, Architects, etc. I'll get to see them live at least. Not to mention, Underoath's got so much potential in their current line-up.

Also, I saw The Banner on Sunday, and they were surprisingly really good live, and their singer was really cynical and made fun of himself a lot lol.
