Disagree. It's all about Skynard.
Then why don't you know it is Skynyrd instead of Skynard?

lunch998 11-06-2004 11:23 AM

Allmans are miles ahead of Skynyrd.

Badmoon 11-06-2004 11:24 AM

Either shut up, be nice or leave. Who cares if he spelt it wrong?
Either shut up, be nice or leave. Who cares if he spelt it wrong?
Coming from you that is slightly ironic.

Guitar_Hero 11-06-2004 11:29 AM

3MTA3 11-06-2004 11:33 AM
Either shut up, be nice or leave. Who cares if he spelt it wrong?
Sorry, that is a pet peeve of mine, but you're right. Rock on & Peace

3MTA3 11-06-2004 11:36 AM
who all was in the yardbirds? wasnt jimmy page, beck, and clapton all a part of it somehow?
All 3 were. Clapton was first, then Beck, then Beck & Page, then just Page. Page played bass with them briefly before changing to guitar.
who all was in the yardbirds? wasnt jimmy page, beck, and clapton all a part of it somehow?
BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 11-06-2004 11:41 AM

BludgeonySteve 11-06-2004 11:49 AM
Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young

Hey

I have a couple Questions.

First, When do you guys think Neil Neil Young did Better, as part of CSNY of solo.

Second, Which is better CSNY, or do you think they were better off without Neil

Speak

Peace
1. Neiul Young solo

2. They were better with Neil.
Anybody like psycobilly?
Is that a band of sorts?

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 11-06-2004 11:54 AM

No a kind of music...psychdellic and rockibilly mix.

BludgeonySteve 11-06-2004 11:57 AM

Ha, tiss what I thought.

You peoplez and your genrez...

~The*Lemon*Song~ 11-06-2004 12:10 PM
Anybody like psycobilly?
Like the Cramps? I think they considered themselves to be that. And no, I don't really like them...used to, but that's a WHOLE different subject.

And Hitting on the Moonshine is from "The Ocean", doesn't mean I actualy do it (.....or do I?)

And I'm not going to get married, ever, to anyone. don't believe in it. I am going to be a great guitarist, and die alone, rich, and famous and obsessed with myself. cheers to that :chug:

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 11-06-2004 12:16 PM

The Cramps infact suck and who asked for marrage?

Oh and Southen Backtones infact rule...

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 11-06-2004 12:19 PM

lunch998 11-06-2004 12:21 PM

Keith Relf and Chris Dreja are the only two other Yardbird members I can name.

~The*Lemon*Song~ 11-06-2004 12:22 PM

It was from several pages back that went on when I was gone and could not respond to so I'm responding it to now...geez.

Yes the cramps suck, but they say that they are Psychobilly...
Name some bands that you are thinking of which are the REAL psychobilly...if you may.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 11-06-2004 12:25 PM

Southern Backtones and Reverend Horton Heat are probabaly the best I know but I dont know to much about it.

Badmoon 11-06-2004 12:29 PM
Coming from you that is slightly ironic.
Judging by your usertitle, your not to ignorant to irony, are you?

vote Zeppelin Mr. Lunch? ;)

~The*Lemon*Song~ 11-06-2004 12:32 PM

I thought reverend horton heat was rockabilly?
(are they both basicaly the same?)

lunch998 11-06-2004 12:32 PM

I sure did. Doesn't mean I don't like Pink Floyd.

ddeadheadd 11-06-2004 01:11 PM

I'd definatly say Classic Rock is in...I'm 13, and i've listened to it since i was 10. Some of my favourite bands are Grateful Dead, Yes, Zeppelin, Floyd, Neil Young...i like tons. I actually know ALOT about classic rock, too. I'd definatly say it's coming back in.

Badmoon 11-06-2004 01:12 PM
I sure did. Doesn't mean I don't like Pink Floyd.
Still ironic.

lunch998 11-06-2004 01:23 PM
Still ironic.
True. However you telling another kid to be nice in this thread is more ironic, since most of your posts are about how other people's opinions are wrong. (Even if your are joking, it's old.)

Badmoon 11-06-2004 01:28 PM

And I will continue to. Most my post aren't even jokes. The opinions of half the people who come in here are stupid and ignorant.

And most my posts aren't even mean.

You can rag on the Kids that say "OMG Classic rock is awesome. I like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Aerosmith." But other people here who are knowledgable about classic rock should be entitled to their opinion on what they listen to and don't listen to withouth getting scrutinized by others.

Badmoon 11-06-2004 01:36 PM

Have I ever insulted anyone's musical taste on here without it being a known joke, or it being Led Zeppelin. It's all my opinion, and if you don't take that into consideration then tough crap.

You may also notice that I'm never the one to insult a n00b who just randomly prances in. I guess I leave that up to you, and JPJ and the other non originals.

Yea, I act as though I'm above everyone else. I give you all samples, I reply to your reviews, I start chats, album trades, I put good words in for you in award threads, and defend you guys in MX chats, and even invite you into different forums.

I'm soo much the outcast of this thread. I try not to make any connection with all of you guys, because I'm above all of you.

3MTA3 11-06-2004 02:05 PM

What does the length of someone's membership on this site have to do with anything? I've seen this on other sections of the rock and metal section, too.

Badmoon 11-06-2004 02:07 PM

If your refering to "n00b", don't take it in a bad way. You are just new, and it is easier to say that than each of your names :).

Your right you do all that. All I was saying was that you sometimes act as though your musical taste is superior to everyone elses(In some cases it obviously is, but in others, it is opinion.) And I called you above everyone else because you say things like "you, Jpj, and the other non-originals", it just came off as though you think because you were an original your better than everyone else. That might not be what you think, just how I read it. If that wasn't what you meant, then I apologize for creating a useless argument and wasting space.

Noob isn't just about post count. It's a way of thinking, and it's own language now.

3MTA3 11-06-2004 02:18 PM

Cool. Yes, I'm new to this site but I have been a rock music fan and musician way longer than most people who are on this forum have been alive. I was listening to classic rock when it was the new stuff, so I may be a decent source of info for some of you.

~The*Lemon*Song~ 11-06-2004 02:20 PM

am I the only one that thinks that?
