So Frontlines is fucking EPIC live. These guys need to travel more, they'll definitely get signed. Sebastian's back on vocals, and he's better than ever.

to go from hating on bands for having pig squeels to listening to this in less than a year is looooooooool Know what these vocals remind me of? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqHEmBCv0Ns Also, does anybody else think Human Mincer's drumming is fucking obnoxiously stupid?
i wouldnt say its stupid its just more or less the same thing the whole time and i dont really see how stuff human mincer is different from most deathcore aside from not having a bunch of breakdowns each song |
one is watered down, one is not
one has a faster tempo and is more technical, one has predictable half-time open note chugging one is for karate kids, one is for fat virgin slobs demographics |
one is watered down, one is not
lol, both are derivative garbage
one has a faster tempo and is more technical, one has predictable half-time open note chugging
WTC has more tempo changes, but still has fast parts, both are predictable, Human Mincer isn't so much technical as they are gibberish the fact that you act like throwing in half time beats is a bad thing is just proof that you know absolutely nothing about what is/isn't technical also, human mincer's drummer is as laughable as waking the cadaver's but for different reasons
one is for karate kids
Waking The Cadaver
one is for fat virgin slobs
Human Mincer
demographics
Joke still isn't funny. Summary: you just started playing guitar and don't remotely understand drumming. |
anyone watch scuzz? so much deathcore on there these days
|
Nah, never done did.
|
so many phat riffs
|
not deathcore, but awesome breakdown:

this is the deathcore thread.
|
finally bothered to check out the contortionist and wretched
they both rule |
contortionist can foad
wretched rules, aoty probably so far |
The Contortionist is really really talented, I don't get why you hate them so much.
And please don't even mention the tuffguy vocals thing, because they seriously don't have those. And yeah, Wretched is cool, a bit generic though. |
one band averages more than one breakdown a song
one has one breakdown in the whole album (located on this page) the complaint about wretched is the drumming is really lackluster at times |
Wretched has more than one breakdown, what?
And for someone who listens to brutal death, you sure whine about breakdowns a lot. The Contortionist is really really really good, they have mad interesting rhythms and awesome post rock and post hardcore sections, which is really rare in deathcore-ish music. I still prefer their old vocalist though, his vocals were so much more emotional. |
Agree about the drums but I do really like them.
|
Im talking about Beyond the Gate, I listened yesterday and counted one breakdown, and it wasn't generic
slams > breakdowns |
Mind explaining the difference between slams and breakdowns?
I guess I'm retarded. |
not much, all I know is there is a clear difference between bdm and deathcore
bdm - tighter in every aspect, more riffs, slams and lyrics are brutal dxc - -core riffs (in b4 justin and mappy whine), breakdowns and lyrics are faux-brutal, |
I see. Can you give me some bands that describe each of those. Need to get some new shiz
|
Slams are just breakdowns with a really gay name and less interesting rhythms.
BDM isn't really usually isn't that tight, wat? Like, listen to Modus Delicti or Waking The Cadaver, that's the best example of most BDM. And what the hell is faux-brutal? "These lyrics aren't violent enough." Also, there you go using whine in substitution of being more educate, you dumb nigga. :) |
I see. Can you give me some bands that describe each of those. Need to get some new shiz
Good brutal DM: Iniquity - Grime, Kronos - Colossal Titan Strife, Vile - Depopulate, Agony - Apocalyptic Dawning, Blood Red Throne - Altered Genesis, Appalling Spawn - Bestial, Mystical, and Spiritual, Sepsism - To Prevail In Disgust, Malignancy - Inhuman Grotesqueries |
Human Mincer
Blasphemer (Ita) Inherit Disease Defeated Sanity Decimation Misericordiam (ep only) Vomit the Soul Embroynic Depravity lolcore Oceano Whitechapel As Blood Runs black (in b4 mappy whines how i liked them two years ago) Waking the Cadaver Emmure |
He was asking for new deathcore, also, Waking The Cadaver is brutal death metal. And last spring wasn't two years ago, sorry. Like, Brent, we get it, you don't like deathcore, stop posting in this thread. |
yeah, because of have so many abrb plays on my lastfm
|
Okay?
I like how we both forgot Infinitum, that band is sick. |
they're better than all the bands I just sampled from your bdm list
|
Wow, you must've listened intently to all of those bands in the past 12 minutes... can you please stop trying to one up me? This has gotten very very tiresome.
P.S. Grime is the best BDM album ever, followed shortly by Pierced From Within and None So Vile (which are so obvi that who would bother to namedrop them anymore anyhow?). |
