Yeah, I had an idea which you were talking about. Repetition is one of the strongest tools of rhetoric, though..I'd imagine the aim of the song isn't to dance and twirl through metaphors and lyrical devices, but to stir up baser feelings.
Yeah, but at the same time, it gets really boring and dime a dozen when you lurk primarily in S&L. :-/
No shit they aren't black metal, and they have some of the best lyrics I think.

They use alot of variety in their word selection and useage and so forth...

Don't get mad just cause you can't find 1349, I'm not being elitist, it's true, if you search for it in the black metal room you will get about 160 results

Enter a chat room, right-click on the chat, and go "room search" You must have version 1.44 or newer. It won't work on version 1.42 or whatever the current stable one is.

Is anyone in mxrockandmetal on slsk? If so I'll sign in for a bit.

LordDargon 12-15-2004 06:48 AM

You bastards someone go in. Right click on room menu, create room, enter "mxrockandmetal" no quotes.

gmoneyguy 12-15-2004 06:55 AM

I don't have soulseek, and I have school in a few minutes.

Actually, it's coming up to 1pm, and I haven't been to sleep yet. I should really get this whole sleep cycle thing sorted out.

Permanent Solution 12-15-2004 07:17 AM

Taken down due to bandwidth issues I believe...having troubles either way due to that.

Bartender 12-15-2004 07:27 AM

Oh ok. My apologies.

Anyway, I'm going to bed for a few hours. See you all later tonight, except maybe you, Zep. Enjoy your time home, if I don't see you before you go.

munky_magik 12-15-2004 10:19 AM

When? Where? How much?

thickasabrick 12-15-2004 10:19 AM

so talking to guitrguy about oceans 12...

i found it very confusing. if you saw the first one you won't have a problem with the second one, but i fell asleep during the first one and i missed it all.

i didn't know any of the characters, and there is alot, and its kinda tricky.

its kind of like....main guys steal something, get caught, realize they were tricked, trick the guy who tricked them, realize as they tried to trick him he was tricking them, they really did trick him, but he secretly tricked them...you get the point.

the movie jumps around a lot and explains a lot of stuff that happened during the movie at the very end. so everything wraps up at the end, but during the movie you may feel kinda lost. but other than that its a great movie.

/wants pizza

I haven't been to see a movie in ages, no new releases seem to interest me

thickasabrick 12-15-2004 10:46 AM

k at the movie theater, there was this thing and it was like a movie stand that spins. it had a lot of good dvd's and video games on it, and you put in two dollars, and it spins...you have to press a button at the perfect time to make it stop spinning at the right time. if you win, you get whatever dvd/video game is on the bottom of the stand.

i watched this kid (about 13) put in 2 dollars, and win Halo 2, and then San Andreas, Lord of the Rings 3, Harry Pottery (3rd one it think) and Ice age. he said he has won about seven different video games in the past week.

Halo 2 for two dollars? i'm talking canadian money if it really makes a difference.

so he spent about 10 bucks, and got well over 100 bucks worth of stuff. pretty amazing.

Holy shit, I would be at that machine everyday.

thickasabrick 12-15-2004 10:50 AM

it was hard to do though, me and my friends watched about 10 other people try it and no one won. plus that kid had already won most of the good games.

but yea, i didn't have any money, just a debit card, and i was really wishing i had brought some cash.

im sure some company is losing a lot of money on that machine.

gmoneyguy 12-15-2004 10:54 AM

haha, I think more people lose then win, and that is what they are planning.

gmoneyguy 12-15-2004 10:56 AM

true

munky_magik 12-15-2004 11:12 AM

I'm surprised they didn't think of some way to rig it. Making the hole/slot for the games and dvds to fall out slightly too small would have been classic
