listening now. not too bad so far
thoughts? |
pretty good, nothing that really caught me by the balls and squeezed but very solid. More so than a lot of stuff im getting rec'd nowdays.
yeah there isn't too much around that isn't ASP (which rules tbh)
dude i know. im really impressed with that new album of theirs. equal to TPoE at least IMO. I know a lotta people will probably argue that one
agreed, there isn't a weak track tbh
completely agreed. the spanish track at the end is the only one i didnt listen to all the way through for some reason, i think i was just burnt on the album by that point.
new salt the wound > new all shall perish
i do like kill the crown but it is super repetitive. I dont know a way that you could argue with that mapz
innovation/diversity>repetitiveness |
the new asp sounds the same + groove parts and more boring
the vocals sound mad similar |
sounds the same as what? any of their other albums? ill have to respectfully disagree with you on that one man
new salt the wound=old STW-brees+more metalcore riffs i still love em both though |
the new asp and the new stw both have tons of darkest hour rip off riffs
and stw's singer just sounds like eddie from asp now |
i dont hear that at all from either of them
you got some weird ears there mapzilla lol |
Carnifex have another album coming out soon already wtf
lol Carnifex
The New Carnifex song wasn't very good.
I'm fuckin disappointed with Carnifex's new song. I wasn't expecting it to be great but I didn't think it was gonna suck that bad. It's bad.
i lost interest in anything that Carnifex has been doing past their second album. Nothing i heard past that ever sounded good. They put albums out way too fast and i dont think they put enough time and thought into em.
the beach boys used to do like four albums a year
yeah and look where that got their father

Dead In My Arms is a fun listen as is Hell Chose Me. The Diseased and The Poisoned was pretty terrible give or take a couple songs. |
My most vivid memory of Carnifex was seeing them live with Whitechapel, at one point they all held an open low string allowing the guitarists and bassists with 2 free hands each to lift their instruments high in the air, revealing they each had in big letters the word 'Kill' written on the back of their instruments. Bit gay tbh.
^ Bit gay tbh.
Carnifex's song Answers in Mourning makes me lol at the way they completely jacked the breakdown from As I Lay Dying's Through Struggle
Yeah, they fail.
Slit Wrist Savior still brings the mosh
yeah they have a couple ok songs, stupid mosh stuff is fun sometimes
I actually like a lot of Hell Chose Me, but they get so boring so fast.
Band still fails though. |
Hell Chose Me isn't too bad along with a couple of songs off of the first album.
Dead In my Arm's rips. It's retardedly generic but its doing all of the wrong things right. I dunno I can't explain why I love that album so much.
I'm still in love with Count Your Blessings by Bring Me The Horizon, sometimes "shitty" albums are fucking awesome to the individual.
off the heezay is a great song tbh, only song of theirs i really like
Braille and Black and Blue are pretty good songs too
Whole album is Melodeathy fun...with breakdowns.
The whole genre is supposed blahgenreblah fun with breakdowns, but people take it too seriously cuz there are examples of excellent deathcore that the fun stuff can't live up to.
reading that post actually hurt a little bit
