They're a really fast, really cheesy power metal band. Their lyrics are ridiculous and typically make no sense and they're all about fighting for glory. Great band. I'm not sending out Dragonforce though.

good, got paid today, and i have an hour worth of work.



My girl is not mad about me going to the pageant thingy, and i chose to stay home and practice, but apparenlty our band practice is not going to be Sunday.

They're a great band, excellent power metal.
It's like a mix between Iron Maiden and Dream Theater, but 10x faster and PM.

This upload is going painfully slow, so anyone else who wants it still has time to get on the boat.

The album is truly hilarious, even with the harsh vocals they still manage to be cheesy. They have a song about fighting and going to hell with the demons and whatnot.

I hate Gigantour. I'd say "waste of money", but it was free for me. Dream Theater were amazing, but I couldnt hear anything else. The molson amphitheatre has awful sound and it was teh same day as the airshow...

I dont think it would have been a waste of money. Symphony X, Dream theater, Nevermore, Overkill and Megadeth. I would have killed to go.

Overkill didn't play here. I could hardly hear Symphony X or Nevermore due to the amphitheatre's awful sound. Megadeth sounded like sh[SIZE="2"]it[/SIZE] so I left during their set, etc.

alright, picture this...



we are at gigantour, 2nd row in the bleachers, and my girl JUST downed her 12th beer. She tells me she wants to leave right when the headlining band finished there first song.


On the way out to the parking lot, I realized i didnt exactly know which way to get out of the city. I asked her for directions since she drove us in. She proceeded to get us lost in some section of the city that didnt look familiar. I decided to ask for directions, which wound up getting us lost even more, if that were possible.


After the second time i stopped for directions, she gets this idea that we are gonna get mugged by some black people down town. This "worry" turns into fright, which then escalates into a down pour of tears, followed by "i want my mommy"

This, at first, kinda surprised me, and i found it humorous, considering its not everyday you hear a grown woman cry for her mommy. After my failed attempts to console her, and the water works were still pouring like a fire hydrant in LA, it really started to bug me.


Being lost + drunk screaming girlfriend = terrible drive home :lol:

(wound up meeting mike portnoy and michael romeo, but thats another post)
