Fennario isn't actually a real place. It's a common Grateful Dead reference.

One of their lesser-known songs called "He Was My Brother." Great emotional lyrics.

Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young

Hey

I have a couple Questions.

First, When do you guys think Neil Neil Young did Better, as part of CSNY of solo.

Second, Which is better CSNY, or do you think they were better off without Neil

Speak

Peace

Bradphyrd 11-06-2004 01:01 AM

I have always been a fan of The Yardbirds, been listening to em for a while, but def. my favorite classic rock band is pink floyd... oh hell yeah.

Yes! Someone else who likes The Yardbirds :) What's your favorite song?

Teddy_and_his_epiphone 11-06-2004 08:13 AM

Ac Dc Is The Best :d

drugstore cowboy 11-06-2004 09:57 AM

Well, I was listening to Every Picture Tells a Story, and noticed that if you turn it up loud enough..and concentrate =p, it sounds like very "Bonham"-ish drumming...Anyways...

[QUOTE=Beatles=God]First, When do you guys think Neil Neil Young did Better, as part of CSNY of solo.

Tough questions. I'm gonna have to say Neil solo was better, because there was more of it =p. Even with CSN, his work didn't sound much different than his solo stuff. Even his solo stuff, like Alabama for example, sounds very much like a CSN(Y) recording.

I'd have to say pretty close to equal again. Because they all pretty much wrote their own songs, then only difference between CSN and CSNY is that CSN doesn't have Neil Young..=p

And my favourite Yardbirds song is "Heart full of Soul"

lunch998 11-06-2004 10:01 AM

My favorite Yardbirds songs are Stroll On, The Train kept a' rollin, and Smokestack Lightning.

3MTA3 11-06-2004 10:19 AM

Here are some great but fairly obscure 70s classic rockers to discover: UFO, Captain Beyond, Rory Gallagher, Robin Trower, Tommy Bolin, Steve Hillage, Moxy, Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush, Max Webster, Mott The Hoople, Wrabit, The Sweet, Nektar, Starcastle. Also, some cool classic rock-type movies worth a look: Hedwig And The Angry Inch, Velvet Goldmine, Still Crazy.

The Yardbirds bore me. Except some of the stuff Jeff Beck plays on.

Allmans > Yard Birds

(is refering to how they each have started many careers, off and such.)
