I haven't been able to touch my bass this weekend because of a term paper. :(
It's worth 20%, but if i get an A- or higher i don't have to do the rewrite that's worth another 20%.
I had a prof who did something like that too. Do you get an automatic A+ on the rewrite grade, or does it just not figure into your mark? |

We get the same mark as on the draft. So it just carries over. Either way, we have another 2 weeks to re-edit it and hand it in again. Then the course for the rest of the semester is ka-put. |

Now i dont want to go to tafe, but it gets me out of any real work for another 3 years. Opinions? |
The science and religion debate provides ground for the discussion of a variety of important topics. The intensity of these discussions, of course, varies given that what constitutes as science and what constitutes as religion is nothing short of impossible to define; but one prevalent topic from within this field is the existence of God, the justification therefore, and also the compatibility–or absolute lack thereof–that the notion of the existence of God has in regards to science. Over the centuries, there have been many great, historical arguments for God’s existence; and likewise, there have been a number of rebuttals to the same arguments. Among these contentions are the teleological argument, the cosmological argument, the ontological argument, Pascal’s Wager, and St. Thomas Aquinas’ five ways. Each one with their particular significance, argument, and subsequent rebuttal, these five justifications for the existence of God comprise of an essential area of study in the science and religion debate.
Okay, here are just some of my thoughts on the piece. It is well written and well worded, but I just thought I would throw some things out there to you. You already know this, though, because I told you I was going to do this over MSN. This is how I would write it, but you are more than welcome to reject my ideas. :p Anyway, the order I put these in are the same order as to which they are bolded, and the list is as follows: 1. I would change the "; but" to "; however," because A) I think it flows more, and B) I just think it sounds better. 2. I don't know if that is how you planned those dashes, but for the sake of grammar change it to "--," which is an em dash. That is what is used when there is a break in the train of thought through the piece. The en (-) dash is used for things that are closely related like "father-son relationship" and so on and so forth. There are other dashes used for grammar, but I am not going into that. Also, your word processing software should convert the two dashes into a single one, but it should continue to be the same length. I apologise for the grammar lesson. :p 3. For "; and likewise," I would change it to "; furthermore,". Again, I just think sounds better. 4. I would just re-word that because I think it sounds a little awkward. I would change it to something like "These five justifications for the existence of God (each one containing their own particular significance, argument, and subsequent rebuttal) comprise of an essential area of study in the science and religion debate." So, it would go a little something as follows: The science and religion debate provides ground for the discussion of a variety of important topics. The intensity of these discussions, of course, varies given that what constitutes as science and what constitutes as religion is nothing short of impossible to define; however, one prevalent topic from within this field is the existence of God, the justification therefore, and also the compatibility--or absolute lack thereof--that the notion of the existence of God has in regards to science. Over the centuries, there have been many great, historical arguments for God’s existence; furthermore, there have been a number of rebuttals to the same arguments. Among these contentions are the teleological argument, the cosmological argument, the ontological argument, Pascal’s Wager, and St. Thomas Aquinas’ five ways. These five justifications for the existence of God (each one containing their own particular significance, argument, and subsequent rebuttal) comprise of an essential area of study in the science and religion debate. |
Do you have to pay for it?
lowsound
200$ maximum a year i think |
I hope to graduate high school this semester so that I can get a job in the winter, then work right through next year as well. That way I'll save up some fat stacks to buy some stuff I want and help pay for school.
well its a fine arts course, so slack is the perfect word for it :p
