It's a pretty good album, actually. Sometimes I think the vocalist gets a bit too impressed with himself, though. At times it would have been nice to hear him lower in the mix, instead of in the forefront.

Finally ordered Kamelot's One Cold Winter's Night.

I find Apollo extremely meh. His singing sounds so hollow and bland.

I think the whole band is hollow and bland, TBQH. I do love Gus as a guitarist, though, and their drummer has those badass cymbals that look like the Independent symbol. Other than that, blegh.

Seeing them in a week though. Go figure.

You need the DVD. If only to see Snowy Shaw be... himself.

I like how he doesn't actually do anything except prance around with his cane. Shagrath's vocals are totally pumped in over the music.

New Human Fortress is about, but I'm not too sure whether to care or much. Defenders of the Crown is immense though.
