I know they've been talked about before, But I've heard some Vio-lence songs, and I like them, except for their singer(He sounds like a joke to me) What albums do you reccomend?

Apocalyptic Raids 05-21-2005 09:59 PM

Get Eternal Nightmare and Opressing The Masses.

Eternal Nightmare is going to be re-released in the middle of the year, and Opressing The Masses is pretty easy to find.

Get Eternall Nightmare. I don't like the vocals that much either, but it's worth putting up with it becuase the music is great. :thumb:

DimebagDarrell 05-22-2005 04:39 AM

sweeeeeeeeet just got my tickets for download festival and nuclear assault through :D Download is gona be brillaint just for the Among the Living line-up but also sabbath panic cell, velvet revolver would be good to see as well, messugah and chimaira which arent too bad.

But i got my nuclear assault ticket and it tells you how many have been sold and i was a bit shocked to see with only a month to go that a miserable 22 tickets have been sold :amaze: terrible.

I like the vocals, but I have a high Tolerance for 'bad' vocals. Every band which people always bash the vocals, I usually like it :amaze:

Dimebag: That sounds fucking awesome. Lucky europeans and their festivals >:[

Dear Thrash Thread,

I Bought a couple of Sodom LPs yesterday. Persecution Mania and Agent Orange namely.

That is all.

a8o 05-22-2005 06:04 AM
I wanted to see the 'Kill live, but they're playing on a Wed. night in Sept., and it's like a half hour away + traffic x_x and trying to actually squeeze into a parking spot.

Well, if all goes well, I'll be sure to see them sometime later in the future. That is if they do a farewell tour.
What's wrong with you, soldier? Half an hour! That's like local. I'd kill to see Overkill near where I live.

metal-militia 05-23-2005 04:12 AM

what was that for...

Apocalyptic Raids 05-23-2005 06:34 AM

This thread has been slow lately :(

Anyway, Blabbermouth habe a review of the Eternal Nightmare re-release

http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/showreview.aspx?reviewID=300

I was initially going to not going to buy this since I already have Eternal Nightmare on mp3, but since it has a bonus disk with their show from Thrash Of The Titans on it, I might actually get it when it comes out. The DVD is also going to be out in Fall.

Also, look at this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=306&item=4726003175&rd=1&ssPageName=WD1V

metal-militia 05-23-2005 07:11 AM

They gave it a rating of 8.. i hate them.

Its out in June! I can't wait!! :D

RCA 05-23-2005 08:30 AM

I'm watching a Motorhead DVD right now, therefore I'm the coolest person in all of central Mississippi.

I'm listening to "Take The Blame", and Lemmy's intro speech to the song is hilarious:

"This next one is very fast, it's a very fast song. Don't try to dance to this one; you'll fuck yourself up!"

Lemmy is God \m/

GraveRobbersINC 05-23-2005 03:33 PM

Hey dudes, for my denim vest, do you think a Ride the Lightning patch or a Master of Puppets patch?

RCA 05-23-2005 03:43 PM

Although a Hellhammer patch would be much more krieg, I guess you should go with Ride The Lightning.
