Spaceman Spiff 04-21-2005 09:36 PM

There's something I don't like about the shape of the body on that bass, it seems too long and narrow.

Dieforitall89 04-21-2005 09:40 PM

It reminds me a bit of an anorexic warwick but i still like the shape.

MasterofBass 04-21-2005 10:57 PM

hey all, what's new?

not much here, i'm trying to finish writing a chem lab report on an electrochemistry experiment we did, but I don't want to at the moment, luckily this is the last one I have to do!! I want my semester to end soon!

FYI, I'm a forensic Science major at my school (PACE University, yea, i know you haven't heard of it) and love chemistry too.

So, our experiment... 2 parts.

One, we made an electrolytic cell that we connected to an energy source and measured the pH to see how the pH of the cell changed over time as current was put into it.

The other one, we made a voltaic cell that with a salt bridge and Zn and Cu and respective solutions with the Zn and Cu nitrates as solution and Zn and Cu electrodes in each, and a salt bridge of potassium nitrate, and we measured the voltage of that, and then we had other dilutions of Cu and we saw how the current reduced as the Cu solution was diluted.

we did it last week, but the lab report is due tomorrow, and I'm a huge procratinator!

bottlerocket 04-21-2005 11:44 PM

^ Get on it! It sounds like a fun report.

No, I won't do it for you.

What was the purpose, though?

Haha, I am doing it and I don't need help, I'm not lazy like that. And the purpose was (according to the lab report):

1) to study an electrolytic cell that involves the electrolysis of aqueous potassium iodide

2) to study a galvanic cell and experiment with the effect of concentration on the cell potential using the Nernst equation

3) to obtain experimentally the value of one faraday

HAHA, I'm in NYC, so same time zone. I got the experimental Faraday to be like 94,000 and the actual value is 96,500... not that bad!!! :thumb:

now i'm off for real!!

good rats 04-22-2005 12:31 AM

How's it going Gav?

Hello world

good rats 04-22-2005 02:49 AM

I'm eating KFC.

ElKapitan 04-22-2005 03:04 AM

what time is it there?

good rats 04-22-2005 03:09 AM

It's 7pm. Where are you?

ElKapitan 04-22-2005 03:14 AM

London, it's 10am. i just thought it a bit weird that someone would eat KFC for breakfast. I'm a student and even I wouldn't do that

good rats 04-22-2005 03:17 AM

Is KFC even open for breakfast? I never thought it was. They should make breakfast meals, like, toasted chicken sandwichs, and chicken flavoured coffee.
