Even though it's not melodic death, the Jester Race is one of the worst I've ever heard.

exaggerations ITT. SOtS and JR are the most overrated. SOtS is poopy over produced garbage with like 3 good songs and Jester Race has one or two good cuts I guess. Worst goes to one of the million knock offs. Soilwork is up there too.

Slaughter Of The Soul is alright, Jester Race is good, Heartwork is terrible, absolutely terrible.

I'd take Heartwork any day over those two stinkholes

Tbqh, LA isn't really anything special. I mean it's good music, but a lot of the songs don't flow very well and some of it sounds rather disjointed.

Good band, just not worthy of worshipping IMO.

One thing we apparently agree upon then. "Symphonic" and "Brutal" do not belong in the same description. If they are, it's probably not that good.

It's not really both of them together. Either of those adjectives on their own would put me off of a band. Both of them together tells me I definitely need to stay away though.
