So I've recently decided to start using the Last.fm radio feature. It's actually really cool, to my surprise, and has introduced me a few cool bands. Most of my list next week will consist of Jet's To Brazil similar artists station.

Whenever I do a similar artists section, I get bands the bands I like have toured with that sound nothing alike because scene kids are ****ing idiots.

What determines what a unique artist is? Because every artist of mine every week is unique.

Also what's the difference between a play and a track. I'm guessing a track is a finished song and a play is a song that just started to play but still counts regardless whether it finished or not.

Plays I believe are all the songs you've listened to in total counting repeated song plays, while the number of tracks played is how many different songs you listened to not counting repeats. I think...

Lots of shuffle and iPod plays (that I don't submit to last.fm) last week. Despised Icon was just because I was supposed to go see them, but alas I didn't, so listening to their ultimately forgettable music was futile.
