Individual Thought Patterns or Leprosy
|
Human for sure.
|
Yeah, for the one album they'll be remembered most for, it's probably Human.

@iamtherobots Demigod perhaps? |
I have never listened to a song by Death, but lately I've been feeling urges to find out what I've been missing. Which album is their most monumental?
I think they're all great in their respective ways. |
nah i'll get it here in a few days.
You didn't order a hard copy, did you? |

@iamtherobots Demigod perhaps?
I was thinking Depravity, they pull off the whole evil riffs and uber low vocals cliche of that scene so well. Silence Of The Centuries is like aural sex. |

take it from a Death fanboy, you could listen to all their albums (except Spiritual Healing or Scream Bloody Gore, which are both good albums, just not good to start with) and be extremely pleased by what you hear. If you wanna get into Death, I'd say start with The Sound of Perseverance, as that's the one that I started on and I've been hooked on Death ever since. My favorites are Symbolic and Leprosy. However, a lot of people seem to like Human a whole lot. I do as well, just not as much as most. |
Scream Bloody Gore is my favorite Death album. Pretty much the only one I listen too, actually.
|
Mine is Individual Thought Patterns or The Sound of Perseverance.

Oh come on, if you like SBG you gotta dig Leprosy! |
Leprosy is alright.
|
Symbolic is easily my favorite album of all time.
Leprosy rules \m/ |
Leprosy is like a much, much, much better version of Scream Bloody Gore.
|
lol
Leprosy will take control and bring you to your death No chance of a normal life to live just like the rest Leprosy will spread with time, your body soon to change Appearance becomes hideous a sight too much to take |
Steven wins itt, that's pretty much my thoughts.
jammie: the lyrics on Leprosy rule so hard. Relief does not exist, When you are born to DIE |
Chuck's vocals on that album are so ****ing great.
Touch - The flesh it is so cold Turn away - You now have been told |
I'm listening to Nihilist right now. So fucking great.
|
It's probably my 3rd favorite album by them behind Human and Symbolic. I agree about his vocals ruling, I think his best performance is on Human though, I just love everything about that album.
|
Nihilist is good.
I think it's come down to this yet again: Symbolic > Leprosy > Individual Thought Patterns > The Sound of Perseverance > Human > Scream Bloody Gore > Spiritual Healing |
Nihilist is good.
I think it's come down to this yet again: Symbolic > Leprosy > Individual Thought Patterns > The Sound of Perseverance > Human > Scream Bloody Gore > Spiritual Healing
Why the **** do you have Scream Bloody Gore second to last? What's wrong with you?! |
2nd to last is right where SBG belongs :-\
|
WTF, guys? :(
|
you find Leprosy "alright"

Don't get my wrong, it's an awesome crushing album, but overall just doesn't compare to most of Death's albums. |
Mine is Individual Thought Patterns or The Sound of Perseverance.
For some reason it surprises me that you like TSOP. |
I'm listening to Nihilist right now. So fucking great.
I am going to listen to them when i go back to work. |
I have the demo compilations hard copy
I FOUND IT AT FYE
Awesome. |
FYE does a lot of used stuff. It doesn't surprise me; I've made some pretty awesome finds there.
|
Noice. The FYE around here never has anything good. Their "metal" section is a complete joke. Breaking Benjamin and other gay **** like that.
|
The FYE here isn't that bad. They've got plenty of real metal.
It really depends on the specific store. |
Yeah, I always lol that I found it there. It was sort of a 100% lucky random find.
Wasn't used. The one I found it in was near Chicago. Hmm, wierd. Nihilist just came up in my itunes shuffle. Hmmm, wierd. Hmmm, interesting. I can go for 3 if you want. Hmmm, wierd. Pate just spammed. Does anyone remember that Morbid demo I think I shot to some people? |
Hmmm, wierd. Hottiebassplayer just double posted on my forum.
|
My local FYE has good selection in the metal section but the prices are ****ing atrocious. I rarely buy anything there, and if I do it's because of dumb impulses or if it's used.

I'm more into the Swedish old school scene than the Finnish one, I've never heard of Depravity but I'm going to get that EP now. |
