omfg
that made me laugh so much...i love japanese tv
as in the silent library videos are hilarious, and so are the 1 vs. 100 videos

went and saw bertie blackman last night, was right up the front too...i was a little disappointed though, she seemed heaps grumpy or something, and she only played 9 songs i think, maybe 10, and no encore. it was an ok show

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 06-27-2009 01:22 AM

how's the setup at the brewery?

i've never seen anyone play there.....or is she a dj?

hey Aaron, i'm gonna do a cover of unretrofied.

wanna do drums?

gaslight 06-27-2009 01:24 AM

Where's The Brewery?

I'm way bored. The two minutes until the rugby starts are feeling like years.

That first single she released earlier this year was so good up until the chorus came in, and the chorus was so laughably bad and out of place it made me upset :(

Got mad drunk last night, first time in a while.

gaslight 06-27-2009 10:49 PM

Haha, nice. Epic rugby last night.

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 06-27-2009 10:50 PM

yeah i've been up stairs there before, it is normally used by djs and doesn't look like it could fit a band

the brewery is the hunter valley brewery in maitland

gaslight 06-27-2009 10:58 PM

Sounds pretty tiny, similar situation to the Sando?

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 06-27-2009 11:10 PM

Dealio. That's one of my favourite songs. What type of approach you wanna take?

I played drums tonight at church and through some polyrhythms in to confuse people. 7/4 with my arms trading 5/4 16th with a single pedal at 170bpm. OH YEAH. lol.

gaslight 06-28-2009 07:08 AM

There are hymns in 7/4?

Aaron 06-28-2009 07:15 AM

There can be, haha. It was in 4/4, but the whole song I was riding 16ths on the ride except for the bridge where it's basically a 6/8 vamp driven by piano. But I decided to turn it on its head a bit.

gaslight 06-28-2009 07:19 AM

Haha. You are Mark Corrigan.

Aaron 06-28-2009 06:59 PM

What up? I'm working from home cause I've got swine flu.

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 06-28-2009 07:07 PM

i want to do a straight cover of it but i also want to do a different version of it

gaslight 06-28-2009 07:10 PM

Brutal.

I'm playing rugby on my PS2 and probably going to work on some new songs later. Been going over theory notes from uni for a bit of fun/inspiration.

can you cough in a bag and post it to me, I need some time away from this boring work related worknessness

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 06-28-2009 09:12 PM

we should all use guitar pro and send around ideas and stuff and we can all record our bits separately

Aaron 06-28-2009 09:19 PM

Deal.

RunAmokRampant 06-28-2009 09:28 PM
