I think it's among the few songs that could be considered to have the title of Best Metal Song Ever. |
That's cool...there's quite a few Sabbath Songs there too...
|
Sabbath ++
i have a lot of those songs on my computer. |
Yeah, I think there was too many myself. I have the feeling tons of people voted for there songs just because they may have been the first band with the metal sound, which doesn't meant the quality of the bands or there songs is any better than any other bands'.

That list is biased in favor of songs that are good. That site has the best lists I've ever seen. Check out their "Top 100 Rock/Metal sings" list, because our very own R&M forum will have a competition of its own soon. Vote Dickinson/Di'Anno when the time comes (nominations aren't up yet so don't get upset)! |
That list is one of the best I've seen tbh. Lots of good metal songs, instead of the watered pansy 'Metallica pwnz j00' type list...
|
the Metallica that was on that list was good stuff though.
|
Yeah, those were the good songs, not the Black album crap...

I'm sorry, I have no recording equipment for drums...:(
Anyway, hopefully BLAZE-as live as it gets is going to be appearing through the post soon, It's gonna be awesome! |
Vote Lord Abortion for R&M'er of the month!

I saw Nicko at a drum clinic yesterday. It was ****ing amazing, he's such a funny guy.
And he made the statement: "Screw Sharon Osbourne where the sun don't shine!" |

I would say Hallowed Be Thy Name is the 4th best song ever written. Right behind Bohemium Rhapsody, Paschendale (cliché, I'm sorry) and Good Riddance. |
Hey, whats going on?
For an English project right now, we must chose a song and change it into a story. I obviously chose Dance Of Death :). My teacher orignally said that the story had to be 200-300 words but when I told her the Dance Of Death lyrics were 435 words she told me to write whatever and then she'll check to see if it's ok. So basicly I've come to one of the few points in my life when I wanna do a school assingment. I also don't think I coulda picked a better song, DoD is already basicly a story so I just basicly have to elaborate apon that which is written and then I have an amazing story, as long as I do it properly. Anyways probably around next Friday I should have it ready and perfected so I'll show it to you guys and see what you think. |

Yes dammit!
I would say Hallowed Be Thy Name is the 4th best song ever written. Right behind Bohemium Rhapsody, Paschendale (cliché, I'm sorry) and Good Riddance.
You're saying that a Green Day song is better than Hallowed Be Thy Name?! Be gone. |
I'm sorry YD.
Good Riddance is the only song that I could listen to any time...when I'm up it makes me feel calm, when I'm down it makes me feel up. It's just one of those special songs for me. |
I just saw a van completely decorated in Eddies...it was a beautiful sight...
|
....my dream van if anything ^^^
