Bit of both. I won't be playing much keyboard in the band, but it'll will be awesome for coming up with ideas.

Keyboards are sweet, good fun, great for theory, great for ear training.

That's good, I'm looking into starting up playing my trumpet again.

I received a euphonium to borrow over the summer from my band director today. It's a pretty cruddy marching one, but it's still cool to mess around with. I'm a trumpet player, if any of you did not already know.

When I was in fifth grade I got to play the school's baritone saxophone. I was one of the few kids who could reach the mouthpiece while sitting with the sax resting on the floor. Too bad all the bari sax parts were really really boring :(

It's like a baby tuba. However, I got a crazy marching one that you hold like a trumpet. It sounds like a trombone, only less slidy.

I went from the trumpet, to the baritone, to the tuba.

Ah cool, sounds like fun.

My brother played the trombone once upon a time.

Yeah it is fun. It makes playing the trumpet really weird if you do them one after the other, though, since the difference in mouthpiece sizes is huge.
