Hahah nah, I rofled.

Matt? 06-08-2006 05:24 PM

i just found out, everythign sounds worse on an acoustic

Wow 06-08-2006 05:26 PM

Gashaetia is proof of that.

Matt? 06-08-2006 05:47 PM

fff**** i lost my allen wrench...

now i'll never replace that a string :(

cobert 06-08-2006 07:44 PM

I need to find a guitarist in my area that listens to emo/hardcore (or even shitty scene bands or popcore) so he can write his own guitar parts and make them sound sexy, but i ahve the same problem as matt, and eveyrone here either like rap, Disturbed, or strictly classic rock. The funny thing is, i'm almost in a band alread. Basically, I play guitar and sing in it, and my 2 other friends fill the other slots, but we refuse to take ourselves seriously, event hoguh we allready have 2 song which are both awesome. I dont know why we dont give ourselves a name and actually go somewhere with it.

Matt? 06-08-2006 07:57 PM

i want to get members to play in an emo band with me or like emo/ melodic hardcore even

but everyone with an instrument seriously is sucking led zeppellins dicks all night long.

f'ucking annoying.

cobert 06-08-2006 08:06 PM

I think what we're both trying to say is that nobody listens to cool music.

Even the people in my "band" dont listen to any type of hardcore. Its just that they all think its fun to scream, so i guess it worked out good in the end.

Matt? 06-08-2006 08:12 PM

i just learned the intro riff to a good man is hard to find

/happy

i can't wait till college because hopefully people there will be cooler then here/ i will be able to go a further distance for band practices

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 06-08-2006 08:28 PM

I don't see whats so good abour Led Zepellin...

cbmartinez 06-08-2006 08:29 PM

Uh, they are one of the most influential and talented rock bands of all time.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 06-08-2006 08:30 PM

I know that John Bonham(?) and Jimmy Paige are good at they're instruments but I find them really boring. I can understand why someone might like them and be influenced by them, but I just think they get a lot more props than they deserve. Like how everyone is all "oh my godzzzz" about Stairway To Heaven.

cbmartinez 06-08-2006 08:31 PM

*slaps forehead*

cobert 06-08-2006 08:33 PM

They deserve a lot of props for forming a lot of music as we know it.

I dont like them, but I respect them.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 06-08-2006 08:35 PM

The only LZ song I actually like is Whole Lotta Love.

Matt? 06-08-2006 08:35 PM

they are good at that kinda stuff, but i don't wanna start a classic rock band.

bassically was the point of what i said.

and has anyone else noticed that the new hot cross shirts are mega lame?

Luxor 06-08-2006 08:52 PM

I like the new ones :(

Matt? 06-08-2006 08:54 PM

the red one is acceptable.

but who wears red shirts anyways...

besides waldo

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 06-08-2006 08:56 PM

I like them too. I agree the red one is neat but I can't wear it and I don't see others wearing it either. Eh besides I don't wear band shirts that much. I stick to collord shirts.

Luxor 06-08-2006 08:57 PM

who would have thought that a dopey mother fucker like that wearing a red and white striped shirt would be so damn hard to find in a crowd

Matt? 06-08-2006 08:59 PM

i'm not a good judge of clothing though, because my everyday wardrobe consists of athletic gym shorts, and either one of a billion various 5k shirts that i have stolen because i live next to the place that throws the events, or shirts that have random advertisments or advertisment slogans on them.

i have this hilariously sweet shirt that's like olive green and it has this random pocket on the right side with like a crest on it, and then above it it says new hampshire in a slant font fading from purple to pink.

best shirt ever

i have the sweetest style ever haha

my sister circled him in every picture, that bitch.

cobert 06-08-2006 09:08 PM

My personal favorite shirt is for my schools hockey team, which hasnt existed in about 7 years. Most people never knew we had one, since they didnt actually play at our school, they played at a public rink.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 06-08-2006 09:09 PM

My favorite shirt is my orange and white striped collord shirt.

Jawaharal 06-08-2006 10:32 PM

Brain Toad 06-08-2006 11:08 PM

I have never watched a basketball game in my life.

bottlerocket 06-08-2006 11:20 PM

I saw a dude get paralyzed for life today...

deadohiosky9 06-08-2006 11:21 PM

Poor dude....

Brain Toad 06-08-2006 11:21 PM

You have better of caused it.

bottlerocket 06-08-2006 11:29 PM

At a show someone punched this guy in the face, totally an accident...you could tell. He turned around to be like, "Whoa, sorry man" and the guy grabbed him by the face and threw him into the drum kit of the band playing. The dude literally bent in half over the bass drum and his back snapped right in half. Poor guy was rushed to the hospital. Word on the street is he's paralyzed now.

Tjebby 06-08-2006 11:30 PM

I hate people like that and their "tough guy" bull**** attitude.

deadohiosky9 06-08-2006 11:36 PM

Yeah, seriously. I made that my band's myspace headline earlier today. "F'uck yr tough guy bulls'hit."

bottlerocket 06-08-2006 11:36 PM

God damn, that's a fucking bummer. I hope the dude who tossed him gets fucked up bad.

Oh, and Neeshee. You're not Kerouac, stop saying "yr".

deadohiosky9 06-08-2006 11:51 PM

I only say yr when mocking something, because it's f'ucking gay.

Niko you're not emo, get the f'uck out of this thread.

He will. He'll get jumped and there'll be a huge beef at every show now...sucks.

Kerouac is the man. I love his shit. On the Road is one of my favorite books. I like Borroughs, too. Naked Lunch is genius...messed up...but genius.
