Make us die slowly! Nuclear winter!
Or should that be ween-ter? :p |
i have in the sign of evil, obsessed by cruelty, persecution mania, agent orange and M-16 and to be honest i dont rate in the sign very much and obsessed is pure rubbish. Its way to raw for me which is just down to my taste i suppose but outbreak of evil which is on persecution mania was originally on in the sign of evil and it sounds 10times better when its been played again.
"Obsessed By Cruelty" and "Pure Rubbish" shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence. I found Demolition Hammer's "Necrology" demo and Shah's "Beware" at the local shop today. All for 9 bucks! |

Most definately! I'm glad to have it on CD finally, so I can jam out in my truck instead of listening to it on an MP3 player. NP: Immolation - Into Everlasting Fire |

NP: Immolation - Into Everlasting Fire
The CD stores here suck, and carry almost all mainstream/poplular music. They have quite a bit of metal, but it's all Arch Enemy type headbangers ball music. Luckily they have some thrash at least (Megadeth, Testament, etc.). NP: Catalepsy - Evil Within |
Only CD stores near me are Tower Records, Sam Goody, and whatnot, so they don't have anything too far outside of the mainstream. Usually I go Amazon or Soulseek. There used to be a place that sold used CDs, I loved it, but they went out of business.
They have quite a bit of metal, but it's all Arch Enemy type headbangers ball music.
Hey man, I love old Arch Enemy. Really everything but Anthems. |

Hey man, I love old Arch Enemy. Really everything but Anthems.
I like it too. I am just using it as an example of the level of underground-ness they have. |
Gotcha.
Well I just got my tickets for Gigantour, hopefully Overkill and Testament will end up signing on the second stage. |

NP: Catalepsy - Evil Within
Yeah same, I have one store near me that has plenty of Thrash bands, and quite a bit of black and death too. Thats about it though :( |

Heh, well that's pretty much better than I've got. None of the stores here carry any black metal (at least I haven't seen any). Which is part of the reason why I don't buy many CD's. NP: Shah - Threshold Of Pain The coolest thing about Shah is the guitar tone, by far, in my opinion. It's so unique and cool sounding. |
i've never heard of shah.. i think i have to download some songs now :D

This Demolition Hammer demo is also quite good.
NP: Deathspell Omega - Si Monumentum Requires, Circumspice |
Rotting Corpse are suppossed to re-release all their old demos on the 24th.
It's only going be limited to the first 100 ppl, which will receive a limited edition version signed by all the bands members. I think I might have all my info wrong but, I think I got some of right. They will do a second mass printing again, but with different artwork and a different cover. /bleh. I haven't ordered my tickets to either Gigantour (can't go since they're not coming to LA yet...and even if they did, I wouldn't be able to go x_x) or Revenge of the Sith. I talked to my friend Sami about it and she was hyped that I asked her to go with me. XD Her friends are all telling me that she's excited I asked her out...except I didn't know I even asked her out. /sly XD bleh. ranting I have done. :D |
I'll have to try to nab a demo or two.
Have fun on your date! :p |
I picked up some King Diamond last night, "Them" and "Conspiracy" a two for one type of deal, great old school speed/power metal
oh.....just bought my Overkill tickets.......I have to wait until September to see them though |
I'll have to try to nab a demo or two.

I've been sampling W.F.O., From The Underground and Below, as well as Under the Influence. I'll see if they have any L.A. dates. |

That'd be hilarious  lawl. >_< I'm tempted to buy a new thrash album, but don't know what to do first. So much great material coming out in the summer, and then Wacken this year looks like it's going to slay. Too bad I couldn't be there ._. I have the 2003 DVD from Wacken, and man, it's a good DVD. Great blend of all metal, even thrash. I should put together a "To Buy List" of all the new stuff coming out. /genious |

Great album, I wish I was lucky enough to find it in stores. :chug: (edit: Yes, It's called "Beware"... Don't know what I was thinking.) |

Friggin' Sweet! Thanks :thumb: |
Nice, thanks.

Pretty good stuff.

if you want more Russian metal, check out Master, they are pretty good.

NP: Tankard - Rectifier

Since you seem to be on the subject of Russian thrash, I still maintain that (what little I've heard by) Korrozia Metalla are pretty good.

ummmm... was there a point to that? :p Tankard are ok, but are more of a piss take band with most of their stuff being about beer. That Shah is called Beware by the way **** RCA got it first. :p |
