playing bass really opens you up to new genres and artists.
most of my friends listen to stuff like rock and rap or whatever, and dont know anything about jazz music. music is dominated by popluar genres and people are oblivious to other genres like jazz and funk. |

I find that bassists are the most theory/music/life knowledgable people.

I just watched that video again, and that solo thing he did at the end of Vid 2 is pretty amazing sounding. |
