i'm a goseberry man myself. i just love those little green furry fellas

fatbandit 04-18-2005 11:14 AM

I likeses me the new Limp Bizkit song, with Wes back on guitar.

I still remain adamant, that without Durst, people would give that band respect...

rh15951 04-18-2005 11:51 AM

Howdy all, how's it going?

black_star 04-18-2005 12:30 PM

Ah fatbandit, i see a change in your avatar

How's everyone ?

Can i ask bass related questions on here or is this thread strictly casual

fatbandit 04-18-2005 12:53 PM

NO. Nothing to do with bass, or bass related questions.

On a different note, is it possible to remove the head from my combo and have it power a different amp? As a head, rather than a combo...

Pluperfect_Arson 04-18-2005 01:00 PM

Hey, everyone.

I'm using my lunch time wisely by sitting here on MX.

black_star 04-18-2005 01:00 PM

I know this is retarded, but i want to ask how exactly do you all fingerpick if you do.

If you use a pick, you suck! (hah, i don't mean that, i use a pick sometimes too)

But could you please help me out.

black_star 04-18-2005 01:01 PM

Yes you are Arson

Later, you can not sleep and let MX take over your life.
Postcount ++

Spaceman Spiff 04-18-2005 01:03 PM

I don't care who's in Limp Bizkit, I will not listen to them.
If I were, not only would Fred Durst have to go, so would the DJ, a DJ is never needed.

I've heard of something like that, yes. But you have a roland with COSM I think.. so won't that be a problem?

fatbandit 04-18-2005 01:17 PM

I have no idea!

Its all digital and stuff...

I'll just get the next size up DB and an extension cab 2x12 I think. 1x15 + 2x12 good? Hmm... We'll see. Not likely to happen anytime soon anyway.

black_star 04-18-2005 01:29 PM

Can you please tell me how you fingerpick ?

geez, it's like my posts are painted with invisible paint or something....are they?

kilian 04-18-2005 01:32 PM

Fingerpick? Just playing with your fingers?

black_star 04-18-2005 01:36 PM

Yes, i just want to know how you do it
I mean dig in and pluck it warmly up, or just plainly just pluck the strings upwards

i can't really explain. I just want to know how you guys fingerpick, did you read a lesson or something, and do you pay attention to some particular thing while picking,

I have been fingerpicking for long, but i just want to know how other do it.

kilian 04-18-2005 01:36 PM

wOOt!

neal_672 04-18-2005 01:37 PM

Fingerpicking is all preference, if it feels right do it...

black_star 04-18-2005 01:38 PM

i have been fingerpicking for long = around 2 months or less

kilian 04-18-2005 01:38 PM

Oh I am just playing with my fingers, I knew bass was played like this so I started like that. Using two fingers in the beginning and just hitting the strings so I was getting sound out of the amp. And it worked, I am more touching them than hitting them. Not down, more vertical (so uhm.. 'up' when you look at it like guitar strumming).

I can't really explain

black_star 04-18-2005 01:52 PM

God, will you teach me how to fingerpick

neal_672 04-18-2005 01:55 PM

Basically all i do is pull back (up on the strings) with the tip of my finger, i use 2 fingers, i'll try and find you a video or something to demonstrate, if you can get anything primus fingerstyle video wise that'd be great :thumb:

black_star 04-18-2005 02:00 PM

I live in India god (i was hoping you'd know that, being god and all) and i don't have any access except if they have any videos on P2P. NO primus Albums come to India.
I pray they will.
