1x15 refers to 1 15 inch speaker while a 2x10 is 2 10 inch speakers and so on as far as bass treble and punch the smaller the speaker is usually more punchy but the brand can add too that too.

So, I think I have made my computer awesome. I've made it so that I can just put WMP on "shuffle", and let it go, and get hours of good music, none of which I object to. And all of my CD collection is almost on it!
