Groundwork is really good, too.

interviewer02 06-12-2008 09:48 AM
you also think chuck schuldiner is a better vocalist than anthony gunnells dude, your opinion just fails.
I need to clarify that I only love Schuldiner's vocals on TSOP, and yeah, on that album, he beats any vocalist I've yet heard in the metal genre, as far as harsh growls go. For one, I can understand almost everything he is saying, which for me, is very important, and he still maintains the demonic feel.

And Anthony Gunnells is not a great vocalist. Sounds like "everyone else" and is very annoying. He can't even touch Chuck.

McP3000 06-12-2008 09:51 AM

I prefer is vocals on Human and Individual Thought Patterns even though TSOP is probably their best album.

spirit....CRUSHEEEER

He definitely went higher on TSOP, which probably turns some people off. I just think he got even more demonic and focused in his vocal approach. I think I'm gonna go buy "Human" today.

RetiredAt21 06-12-2008 10:39 AM

Not metalcore. Listen to Unbroken, fags.

dinosaurxbrocore 06-12-2008 02:03 PM

botb 06-12-2008 02:05 PM

dinosaurxbrocore 06-12-2008 02:06 PM

botb 06-12-2008 02:16 PM

2muchket! 06-12-2008 02:34 PM

I've just rekindled my obsession with You Dont Walk Away from Dismemberment and with the whole Nightmares album.

Xplisit 06-12-2008 03:22 PM

publicastration 06-12-2008 03:24 PM
cause interviewer was talking mad **** so i brought up one of many proofs of his idiocy
proofs like what, the drummer of Underoath is better than Thomas Haake from Meshuggah?

dinosaurxbrocore 06-13-2008 01:08 AM

i never even said that, i just said aaron gilespie is a great drummer dummy

morelike, you think everbody is some stereotypical "metalhead" toolbag like yourself

statements like "i dont think theirs anybody over the age of 18 who takes underoath seriously"

yet im turning 20 in 4 months and a lot of other kids i know who are like 21-25 are hugely into underoath, and arent morons, and realize how actually good they are

same goes for norma jean, theyre bad live, but their music actually is interesting

That was a stupid statement, I must admit.

And I personally dislike most metalheads, especially the ones that yell "SLAYER" at shows where slayer isn't even there. I'm not gonna be a dick to you anymore, because I realized that we probably disagree about everything when it comes to music, and I'm not right and don't have any say over you about what's right or wrong.

You're just gay tbh.

Anyone like First Blood's demo or whatever? It's pretty good JUN JUN metalcore.

BuddyBigsby 06-13-2008 02:20 PM

hey metalcore dudes show off how much more you know about metalcore than those other kids who are total posers with some sweet prayer for cleansing and martyr ad merch

dinosaurxbrocore 06-13-2008 02:20 PM

are you serious? with what line-up?

dinosaurxbrocore 06-14-2008 01:07 AM

im not exactly sure, but the dude who runs their myspace posted a bulletin saying "this is not a hoax, aftershock wants to know if you want a new ep"

Dimmu Burger 06-14-2008 07:50 AM

Tell them that I do Mappy.

dinosaurxbrocore 06-14-2008 02:52 PM

dude, friend the myspace page, and then comment that you want more afterschock

RetiredAt21 06-14-2008 03:18 PM

Who the **** are Aftershock?

dinosaurxbrocore 06-14-2008 03:21 PM

wtf? are you serious? mad oldschool

http://myspace.com/listentoaftershock

RetiredAt21 06-14-2008 03:24 PM

Not bad so far.

dinosaurxbrocore 06-14-2008 03:25 PM

theyre so good dude, divest your entity is like omfgz

it pisses me off that dudes from overcast and aftershock formed kse and kse is so mediocre

RetiredAt21 06-14-2008 03:26 PM

KSE just sucks in my book.

dinosaurxbrocore 06-14-2008 03:27 PM

i like some of their material a lot, but then theyve got so much filler

but like, i can kind of understand, what with how joel and adam have been writing that style of music since like 92, and kse is like the cheesy mainstream version of it

RetiredAt21 06-14-2008 03:28 PM

I didn't even like them when I was first getting into metalcore.

dinosaurxbrocore 06-14-2008 03:30 PM

idk dude, their st is really ****ing raw, i will say hands down that the only reason i havent gotten rid of my kse shirt is because i love that cd so much

botb 06-14-2008 03:38 PM

i still love me some kse but yeah, there are a lot of filler songs on kse albums. but thats so sick that aftershock may be coming out with something new cause pretty much everybody from like... kse, shadows fall, and all that remains went through that band at some point.

P.S. didn't blood has been shed release something recently too?

dinosaurxbrocore 06-14-2008 03:39 PM

yeah, but aftershock and overcast are the best out of the worchester scene

botb 06-14-2008 03:45 PM

i must agree there.

dinosaurxbrocore 06-14-2008 03:46 PM

cultivation of a heart is like, the blueprint of all deathcore im starting to think

botb 06-14-2008 03:51 PM

that and a slew of guitarists who write breakdowns in drop a tuning.

dinosaurxbrocore 06-14-2008 04:04 PM

that song has like one breakdown and its like 2 seconds long

2muchket! 06-14-2008 06:40 PM

AOJB is what got me into metalcore a few years back now
