its seriously probably the best album in the genre... mad epic melodic death riffing, and really really good breakdowns.

Sorry for being a dick...I was drunk last night...I'm just not all in the loop with all of the genres...but I would definitely mention new Cryptopsy with some of the bands that have been mentioned in this thread...

New Cryptopsy is pretty Butt Metal IMO.

cryptopsy is pretty overrated

None So Vile and Whisper Supremacy are not over rated.

whisper supremacy is okay, musically, the vocals are so intolerably bad though.

none so vile is freaking classic, but kids act like it's the best death metal album ever.

blasphemy made flesh is underrated though, tbh.

It is but I don't like it as much as the two mentioned above.

Ok, I'm working that day, so I'll be able to go. Just gotta get the funds together. That show is Despised Icon, Beneath The Massacre, Neuraxis, Carnifex and The Plasmarifle. Should be a fun night of juns and sweeps!

i couldnt find a short myspace link and the album for me was a grower

i missed the Despised Icon show bc i wanted to watch the super bowl but AM going to Meshuggah & The Faceless, let the hate mail begin idc much about Cynic....

I don't think Cynic are bad, but it is gonna take me a little longer to get into them.
