I disagree. Most of metalcore is re-hashed and over-dramatic. These bands are more creative and talented than most of what I've heard.

I think Unearth, It Dies Today are good (haven't heard the other) but they don't have a "supreme edge" over lots of bands; there are better metalcore bands, waaay better.

Check out [I]Architects[/I], pretty much my fav metalcore band at the moment

Go look at the first post in this thread, come back after you've checked out those bands and then you can tell me who is the 'best' 'most creative' metalcore band.

Yeah I know them, just not a big fan. They are talented, i'll agree there, but they're just not my 'cup o' tea'

Not really, It Dies Today is standard, verse/chorus and their heavy songs are extremely generic, dull and boring. Only reason I like them is because they are catchy. Unearth are just thrashier metalcore with loads of breakdowns, but there are fast, crazy and awesome metalcore bands that are better (Converge)

Yeah it is, but I'm also referring to bands that are mentioned on the glorious first page.

Converge is probably one of the most overrated metalcore bands out there. Again, they're talented, but it just doesn't mesh cohesively.
OLD PTW is great, Botch is mehh, 7A7P is garbage, Glass Casket is amazing, BTBAM is phenominal (not really metalcore tho), ETID is great...

Glass Casket are Deathcore though. And I think Botch and 7A7P are awesome.

abr is disgustingly good live. they also come out after the show just to talk to their fans which is really cool. if you haven't seen them before live, you might want to bring an extra set of undies.

I think he says that because the riffs aren't palm muted usually and the drums don't have as much double bass.
