They stopped all planes over UK today because of an Icelandic volcano.

So weird.

the volcanic smoke ****s up the engines, I know some cases about that. also the small particles in the dust causes friction and mad static electric around the plane. but wow iceland - uk is not very close. would rage pretty hard if it was the day I travelled back home from the UK.

I know what the volcanic ash does, I've read that story where the pilot flew a jumbo through a volcanic cloud and had to glide the plane for miles when all the engines cut out, was pretty awesome.

Its just weird to look out and not see any I guess.

Also, my girlfriend's grandad has been in the Phillipines for over a month and is coming home today, I bet he's raging :lol:
