i wouldnt say i struggle per say, but i dont have the range like when im singing some nice stuff, prolly due to the fact i change the way i push air through/over my vocal chords. Ill have to get a mic and see what yall think. hopefully smoking hasnt ruined my voice.

Not that it gives me credit, but i sang Schism at a bar (my sister kept insisting that i do karaoke with her) and got a standing O

The first time I heard it, I was a bit creeped out. I do like the fact that it's played over a drum solo.

To me, I think it's the white noise that gives it such an ominous atmosphere. The drums enhance that feeling, but without the white noise, it would just be funny, rather than creepy.

Record them by anymeans. We'll use whoever sounds better. I'm planning on recording Forty Six and 2 soon.

I tried recording vox yesterday just for fun, man, was that a bad idea. I should probably try actually learning vocal stuff first. Like OMG, LIGHT BULB!

Don't worry so much about recording quality, Moses. If you think that you're talented enough to pull the songs off, then do them. If your mic is extrememly bad, then go to your nearest music store and take the 60-100 dollar plunge for a near-studio-quality mic. :p

I'll be using Audacity, does anyone know how much reverb/echo/effects I need to put in to make it sound well produced?

As for the mic...... I'm broke so I use the mic my mom had on her mini-disk recorder.

Man, I thought you said you thought I was talented enough and then I reread it and realized that it said if I thought I was. ****. :D
