I used to wear 1" shoe lifts but then decided that the whole "sore ankles" and inability to run and the lack of ankle manuevrability wasn't worth the height increase.

thats the only problem with our instrument, we cant just pic up our intrument, and turn of the amp, and we are good to go, nice and quiet.
we are ALWAYS loud. unless we have an e-kit.
