Can I just make a point. I don't see the point in making a thread for 2 teams to debate when we have threads like these all the time in which people give their opinions regardless of signing up, and I think it's a waste of a perfectly good and different thread topic for just 6 people to use.

In theory this will be more thought out and well put together. I agree there could have been more participants, but keeping a set number and teams keeps it organized and better.

That's what I don't understand; "Organized and better". I mean, it's an internet forum. All threads are generally organized if the topic is good, and if some people in them decide to be dicks and begin arguments then there's the debate itself. And even then, Spencer or Joel, or ever sting or S4L (If they ever come back) can help break it up.

It's not crap. There's plenty of people who recommend bands weekly and whenever they find bands that are reasonably unknown and good, it's just that a lot of people choose not to look in there for bands.
