Blah, he has had a month, there could have been several more done in the time he has taken. Go ahead and work one up man, the last one ruled!! You should do one on the members of Tool and see if you come up with anything that the die hard Tool fans here don't know. A person could spend alot of time researching these guys. How much more specific can you be? He was posting up links trying to get people to go to another web site. This site costs alot of money to run. The site generates money by people visiting the links of the advertisers and the more people who visit the site the more valuable the site becomes. When azzholes get on here and post up links, advertising other web sites and trying to get people to leave they get banned. If people want to go to that site they will find it. I don't possible see how we can be any more specific on why he was banned.

Additionally, this is not the proper place to ask about banned users. #1 this guy advertised in The Pit. This is a totally seperate area. This is the Rock and Metal forum, ROCK AND METAL, not THE PIT where he was banned. He was banned in THE PIT, not ROCK AND METAL..#2 banning inquiries are to be placed in the Site part of the forum in a section entitled "Ban Inquiries". #3 you guys should really explore a place, read all the rules, and then start posting.

If your "friend" only got a temp. ban for advertising he is lucky. If he had done it in Rock and Metal I would have perm. banned him. Keep asking questions in the wrong forum and your gonna end up banned as well......

Well, we knew it was you, were not stupid and your not the first person to try that. If you read the rules, and follow them it will all be cool. We want you to enjoy your time here, we want you to be a productive member and pass along information as well as receive information. We can't have you breaking rules and annoying the members that follow them. Once you figure it all out you will be annoyed at people who posted the same stuff you did when you were new.

For some reason new members log on here and post up stupid stuff thinking it is going to be the most popular thread in the world and gain them instant popularity. You will find you will become more popular by posting up serious, intelligent responses than by posting up silly stuff......

I also added an update tab to the rules thread. If a mod updates or adds a new rule they will update the date in the title. If a rule change is made and you don't read it then its not our fault. Major rule changes will be announced here. Rules have to be fluid to change with the users, this will make it fair for our senior members to be able to keep updated on recent changes.....

Look for UD 10/10/4 or whatever the update change is.

I could care either way about the "Hot Rocker Chix" thread. A R&M mod reviewed it and decided it had ran it's course and closed it.

Don't be givin crap to users like King, HRiva, Medopalis, and the other great R&M users who help us keep on top of stuff. When we are here we actually like to enjoy the forums as well, when a user puts up a link it helps us out tremendously! Thanks goes out to all you MXers that help out!!

I think were kinda entering a new dimension in the old R&M. Between the Featured Artists articles (Thanks again Med), and the Competitions (Thanks PIGS and whomever is running the Classic Rock one) the forum is a fun place to hang out. People focus on the moderators as the ones who cleaned the place up, I disagree, it's the users who have done it. You guys point out the threads, come up with the ideas and do the legwork on alot of this stuff. Killer job!
