his early stuff with rusko is tight
thought I told you to stay the fuck out of dubstep as well you fucking joke |
Seriously having some good smoke outs courtesy of Hatcha and Ramadanman at the moment... listening to Dubstep Allstars Volume 1 again is just pure brutality aha. Been on to much of a grime hype recently, forgot how good this can be.

thats cus ur a fag
|
Yeah I agree bro =[
|
Loving me some ital tek atm.
Midnight Colour might creep into my top 5 dubstep releases for this year. |
u guys listened to Clubroot?
|
yup
MMX-II is unreal, almost as good as burial's s/t and untrue. |
The Rusko concert changed you?! into what, someone with a pathetic taste in "dubstep"
been re-listening to some Skream lately, me forgot how good that man is |
His early stuff was key in the early days bro, his babylon releases are still cool now.
|

Sorry album title should be II-MMX my bad.
But if you're laughing at clubroot not being as good as burial then you're a massive fag ethan and you're low opinion on dubstep gets even lower. |
Luc has terrible music taste in everything.
|
I prefer Clubroot's debut to II-MMX. At times I find it to be a bit too sprawling and homogenous, though it's still a very tight record.
|
Evelyn by Fantastic Mr Fox is my favourite release atm.
Poppier sprightly take on the sound James Blake and Pariah do, and it works so well. |

No your opinion is low based on your lack of overall real knowledge. Js.
And II-MMX sounds like a mixture of Joy Orbison and Burial or as Surf put it, a less 'urban' take on burial's sound. Dunno which album you've been listening to like. |
Clubroot's "new agey", lol

Dunno which album you've been listening to like.
II-MMX is the only Clubroot I have. And yeah, its a good album. But there's no way you can say it really compares to Burial at all. The soundscapes are completely different. I could see you describing it as a more ambient Joy Orbison definitely, but Burial? Burial's soundscapes are thick, dark, grimy and lonely. Clubroot's are more floaty and for lack of a better word CLEAN, ethereal, "new agey" is a good description if you've heard any new age music ambient music. yeah man I don't have a shitload of "REAL KNOWLEDGE" about dub. I'm not european, haven't grown up in the scene like you probably have, but I'm saying, on a basis of SOUND, that you cant compare the two. But I'm kindof a Burial fanboy. To be honest I don't consider any dub I've heard even on the same level. |
The vibe that the album gives out is the same vibe burial's stuff gives off, but I didn't say it's more ambient I said less 'urban'.
You're talking to someone as well who loves Burial and has done for the past 3 years, kinda got put off after every faggot from across the Atlantic started trying to dictate that his stuff is the holy grail of dubstep when their knowledge is very limited. He's still one of my favourite artists though. |
So....anyone listen to DeadMau5's new album, is it any good?
|
didn't know it leaked
might get at that |
There's a couple of dubstep tracks on it
|

I just don't hear/see/feel it at all. The atmosphere is completely different.
You're talking to someone as well who loves Burial and has done for the past 3 years, kinda got put off after every faggot from across the Atlantic started trying to dictate that his stuff is the holy grail of dubstep when their knowledge is very limited.
Okay but I listen to a lot of other dub, it's not like he's the only dub ive heard/listen to. I got into him around the release of Untrue as well, it's not a recent thing. |
can anyone send me a link to the new phaeleh?
I cant find it anywhere :( |
try filestube I got it off there
|
There's a pretty well-seeded torrent of it on Demonoid too
|
So....anyone listen to DeadMau5's new album, is it any good?
it's not. I don't like any of his stuff except Random Album Title.
what the hell clubroots soundscapes are clean and new agey, not really comparable to burial's at all low opinion on dub cause I dislike most of the trendy club shit yeaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh
lol |
Note I didn't call Clubroot trendy you faggot
and yeah, I like Random Album Title quite a bit. Though Sofi Needs a Lader isn't a bad song. |
