so speaking of pads, i need a new one. i have the crappy remo one, that i think sounds like, poop (even though its a practice pad). it is just dead.
and it is actually, pretty loud, so i cant play it at like 1 in the morning, like i sometimes get the urge to.

i need a quiet one. i heard the HQ ones are very quiet, and have a good feel. i want a good, rubbery bounce to it.
also, i have seen drummers with the leg strap, that they attach their pads to, and that looks very cool, and im interested.

just thought you might be able to help Phil, if not, ill make a thread.

hmm...

it looks like the pad used for electric sets.

and if its the same as them, thats not what im looking for, those still get pretty noisy, and my house isnt too big. and i want sort of a bouncy rubber feel.

I quite often feel that way, then just pull it out, start playing and usually really get into it.
