No one ever really likes their own band.

CardCheat 03-19-2006 12:23 AM

I'd just like to add that I downloaded three songs from Sorry About Your Crotch, and I think they're all very well done!

How did the Lawrence Arms gig go?

CardCheat 03-19-2006 01:39 PM

Indeed, I was joking. But Sorry About Your Crotch would be an awesome name.

Pretty good, but not great. We played a weird set. Like, we got a pretty good response, but we didn't have the same energy as usual.

Neil from TLA actually approached me after the show, and said he liked us, he wanted our EP. So i guess it wasnt too bad, just not the best.

TLA however, played a pretty damn cool show.

He's a really nice guy, Brendan seems like he could kind of be a jerk. When he talks, esp on stage, he sounds like he has a drunken slur, lol.

Someone asked what they played from the greatest story ever told and i wasn't sure, i do remember now, they did play the ramblin boys of pleasure. That's a great song.

False.

Flagjacket 03-26-2006 05:54 PM

No way.

CardCheat 03-26-2006 07:33 PM

Gah, I hate myspace music. It's so slow and takes forever to load. Purevolume is so much easier for me.

My solo bass stuff. There isn't much yet, but there's a new song up, recorded today. I promise to take my time and write better stuff as soon as I stop being so lazy.

P.S. - Check out this guy

The Red Scare - a couple decent folk songs with a bit of punk flare to them.
