Black Sails in the Sunset is excellent, imo.

Old Blink isn't bad. I prefer pop punk like Deisel Boy, all though I'm really not an expert on it, or punk at all.

I should change my picture so it has angry eyebrows... but really, I'm too laid back to care. I just chew on my soccer ball from time-to-time and chase squirrels.

I should stop spamming.

I'll come back when I have something decent to say.

Guys, we don't want this closed. It's getting towards chat room level stuff again.

LarsAgi007 04-11-2005 05:09 PM

I have never heard of a Labrador retriever, only ever golden Retriever, Don't the golden Retriever's have longer fur?? (Guards nuts also, just in case)

Yes, I agree Cain, a large amount of pages have passed by in the few hours i have been here also.

The community thread's for general discussion. We don't have to be talking about Rock or Metal.

Who likes chocolate chips in their waffles?

Yes, very true, Cain means, try to keep the posts to a lengthy post, and try to make it formative... As you are probably aware Bartender was considering closing the thread if repetitive spam occured :D (You probably know that already though)

I prefer Blueberry's in my waffles, makes them irrisistable!!!! With a drizzle of chocolate syrup!

:smash: Order in the thread!

I think it's fine to discuss music in here, or anything as long as it isn't spam.
Who likes chocolate chips in their waffles?
I do, 'tis very good. My mom started making homemade pancakes recently, they are 100 times better than that toatster waffle crap. Oh man, I need tto go eat waffles now.

I always put them in my pancakes.

Good in waffles too though.

Ah yes, Blueberry waffles are quite tasty.

On a different topic, what is the weirdest sandwhich you've ever seen anyone eat.

Mine goes to Allison of the Breakfast Club, who eats a Cap'n Crunch and Pixie Stick sandwhich.

Oh, I know, we discussed Rage Against the Machine a while back.

I said we don't HAVE to discuss music in this thread.

Doesn't mean that this thread is just for mindless spam.

Then we just simply move it to the pit! :)

My dad once ate a sandwich my mum prepared for him, little did he know is was fresh Ox Tounge! lol

RiceMonster 04-11-2005 05:16 PM

Lars, have you tried blueberries on pancakes? Now that is damn good. I put blue berries on my waffles more than I do maple syrup.

On the topic of syrup, the syrup I have is actually reall syrup, not the stuff you buy in a grocery store. It's delicious.

/getting hungry because of food discussion.
No one's at absolutely no fault, as we're not trying for a 0% spam rate... just because that'd be impossible. Page after page of one- and two-word posts and responses, with only a small percentage of it all carrying any meaning, is stupid though. Especially since it can be confined to a chatroom, which we kind of have set as "mxrockandmetal", don't we? I'm not sure, since I haven't been in one for ages.

It's not just the spam, and the <10-word posts, though. It's also that people seem to come here (to R&M) more or less for the sole purpose of posting in this thread, and chatting with everyone else.
This is what Bossman said. If the chat is starting to turn towards informal conversation, then this thread will be closed.

Clarification++

Hah, waffles. There are two kinds (that are popular here), the ones called waffles from Liège, they are really sugary, so you don't put anything on it, you eat them just like that. Then you have waffles from Brussels, who are just really different, they are longer, the dough is much crispier and they're best with lots of whip cream.

:belgian:

LarsAgi007 04-11-2005 05:21 PM

Oh, i dont think i told you about today, i found out about a great april fools joke that took place where i work, Its is a huge food store, and i work on the produce department, stocking bananas, kiwis, lettuce, ect:, and as we all know, these exotic fruits, can often carry exotic insects ect:
If we ever find anything in them, we have to corden off the area immediatly, as one person got big by a spider once in the same exact store, and dropped unconsious...
So now its law to call specialists immediatly, Well anyways, apparantly, someone put loads of fake rubber spiders in the bananas and when my manager wen't to give them a tidy on the shop floor one stuck to his hand, he then freaked out, threw his arms about, it then flew of and stuck to his eyelid LMAO, That would have been one hilarious site to see!!!

Okay, debate time:

My roommate is blasting Dashboard Confessional, and I hate that crap.

Do I a) put my headphones on and prepare for another bitching out (note: I would use force if necessary this time (;)), especially after the crap he pulled last night), or b) tough it out until 24 comes on and that takes precedence because it's my TV.

Meh, it's all good :)

I just ate some wonderful pizza.

I tried writing again today, but that didn't turn out so well again. I got maybe one line out, and I couldn't find any lines to support it.

I find when my roommate is bothering me now I just turn it up. I have a 500W stereo so I always win. :)

I'd just turn it up and tell him to gtfo if he doesnt like it :)

Stop trying to force yourself to write. When you need to you'll be able to.
