Coheed are one of those bands that I can put on anytime and I'll enjoy them. A solid band to say the least. They have some great, catchy tunes.
my opinion is my opinion, it's not right nor wrong.....but i'm looking out for you guys so you don't waste your time on this crap
If you knew anything about musicianship and how important it actually is, you'd probably be "wasiting" your time too.
We listen to them, because they're one of the few bands out there today that actually give a crap about making songs that show us how good they are as musicians, not because they have a catchy sound.
Everything Evil
The Crowing
Welcome Home
The Light And Glass

You should at least know a thing or two about a band before you make poor attempts to knock them.

A guy with a Green Day avatar shouldn't be "looking out" for anyone. Please send me the file of Billie Joe playing the solo in "Welcome Home", I heard its really killer. ;)

Yeah, The Clash6412, we appreciate the concern and all (actually, we really don't), but we can look out for ourselves, thanks.

But since we're handing out advice, leave this thread and never come back. Just looking out for you.

TheClash6412 08-16-2005 05:23 PM

thanks, i appreciate it....just trying to knock some sense into you

hey, you're not cory! 08-16-2005 07:26 PM

I saw the video today, but there was no audio to it. It was very cool. Not as good as I thought it was gonna be but still very very good.

Gnarmageddon 08-16-2005 07:56 PM

My friend had a really cool idea for the video in one of his MySpace blogs.

His idea > The real thing

tsl_ste 08-17-2005 07:46 PM

has anyone seen the new site?

i hope thats the album art, it looks really good.

DJ Ducksauce 08-17-2005 09:14 PM

I think the album art is the black w/ the big red IV on it.

tsl_ste 08-17-2005 09:19 PM

no, it's weird, go to the site and enter to the main page, and you'll see it on the left.

oh, and has anyone else heard about the 100+ page graphic novel coming out with it? it dosn't explain the whole story, but explains the songs? oh, you buy it sepratly btw.

DJ Ducksauce 08-17-2005 09:33 PM

I saw that pic, but when you go to pre-order, its shows the black w/ the big IV.

tsl_ste 08-17-2005 09:38 PM

huh. weird.

they're re-releasing SSTB with some extra songs and new album art too, on the same day as the new album, for anyone intrested.

Mute Print 08-17-2005 09:42 PM

I read about that. I might buy it since I downloaded the original release. Plus, I want the extra songs. You can never have too much Coheed and Cambria.

DJ Ducksauce 08-17-2005 09:42 PM

Dammit, you mean I have to buy SSTB again just to get the new songs? Crap.

TMA 08-17-2005 09:44 PM

tsl_ste 08-17-2005 09:45 PM

they arnt really new songs, i think it's only 3 extra ones, two demos of songs on the CD anyway, and Elf tower.

Mute Print 08-17-2005 09:46 PM

Eh, I think I'll still get it since I downloaded it originally. I'll have to see.

DJ Ducksauce 08-17-2005 09:48 PM

I think I'll just get it from the YSI thread later.

DepthsOfDreams555 08-18-2005 09:33 PM
