I see I'm not the only one who has to deal with being best friends with girls. Does anyone else ever have those girls tell them what a great guy you are and list all the qualities they love about you...and two days later they ask how come a guy can never have those qualities...but meanwhile she previously said you have them? That really does suck. We've actually done quite nicely out of property recently - our neighbour was really really elderly, but my mum was taking care of her every day, doing shopping for her, cooking, cleaning, just from goodness of heart, there was no money in it. Then when she died her daughter inherited the house, and sold it to my mum at a cut rate as a way of saying thank you. My dad fixed it up and sold it for more than twice the amount we got it for (literally) so we sold our house as well as used the money from both of them to move into our current superhouse. (We're talking roughly £500,000 in value, 5 bedrooms, built in the 17th century. All water from a hillside spring. Yes, I shower and flush my toilet with springwater.)
