Where can I find a good amount of Screamo/emo band tabs? I searched MX and some other sites for City Of Caterpillar, Circle Takes The Square and Fear Before Before The March Of Flames and I can only find tabs for a few songs. Not enough to really study. I study techniques that find in tabs so I can figure out patterns and chords and such so I can learn taht style of music better and I want to start playing some emo, or at least encorpporating it's style into my own stuff. So anyone know where I could find a decent amount of tabs?

And this will sound friggin stupid, but, where do I find a record player to play 7"s?

Just play what sounds good, dude.

That's how most of those bands started.

Try eBay, Salvation Army, etc.

I heard their EP's are better than the LP. But then I've only listened to [I]A New Set of Lungs[/I] and a couple of other songs.

I'm totally digging them. I love how the guitars harmonize so well.

Singer and drummer are from Saetia. Then the other members have done time in Neil Perry, The Now, You and I, and a couple others.

Actually, Underoath is Screamo, if not, what are they? I also like Moneen and Alexisonfire. I like Atreyu, but they are Metalcore with Emo lyrics.

They're not screamo. I personally don't feel the need to argue this with someone with an Atreyu avatar, so I'm not going to. If you want reasoning, you can read pretty much any page in this thread, as we've argued this dead.

Aha, I never said Atreyu was emo, they are metalcore at it's best, I said that Underoath is screamo, that's all.
