my old neibhor was a tatoo artist and has photos of giving the drummer from The Band a tatoo lol, i think that was the biggest celeb he ever got to do.

InVENTOOOR 05-04-2004 04:53 AM

Among middle class English youths rock has always been the mainstream. However you still get rap and garage **** all over the place due to the massive amount of chavs modern Britain has. However, old school rock is definatly experiancing a revival. However the problem is the rock world is so divided. Theres so many different genres, girls who like good music are almost impossible to find, as they all seem to love corporate driven punk bull****.

BludgeonySteve 05-04-2004 06:07 PM

^yep :(

Badmoon 05-04-2004 08:54 PM

Allman Brothers are amazing live. You should definately check it out... Whipping Post goes for about 20 minutes, just a completely awesome jam session.

Badmoon 05-05-2004 01:46 PM

^ "Mountain Jam" on Eat a Peach goes for more than 30!!

Jimi Hendrix - Are You Experienced 10/10
Pink Floyd - The Wall 7/10 (some of it annoys me)
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon 10/10
The Who - Tommy 9/10

these are compilation albums i recently bought, not sure as to their exact names for all, so i'll just put the artist if i'm not.

The Best of the Moody Blues 8/10
The Beatles 1 15/10!!!!!! AMAZING!!!
ZZ Top's Greatest Hits 9/10

thenannymoh 05-06-2004 01:53 PM

I'm a metalhead, but one classic rock band that is often overlooked by metal fans is Supertramp. The albums "Breakfast in America" and "Crime of the Century" have amazing musicianship, and the songs are suprisingly deep and emotional.

Badmoon 05-06-2004 04:38 PM

The Who - Who's Next 10/10
Eagles - Hotel California 9/10
Jimi Hendrix - Are You Experienced 9/10
Pink Floyd - The Wall 8/10
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon 8/10
The Who - Tommy 15/10
Wtf. OmG leik the darkness is bringing back clasik roxorz!!11! U r stupoid

 That is pretty much what everybody in my school says.
Well, if that's what everybody is saying you better not stray from the flock.

jimmypumpkin 05-06-2004 05:37 PM

"Who's Next"- 9/10
"Hotel California"- 6/10 (I can't stand The Eagles)
"Are You Experienced"- 10/10
"The Wall"- 8/10
"Dark Side Of The Moon"- 7/10 (I'm a huge floyd fan, they're possibly my favorite band, but this is possibly the most overrated album of all time, and I find it very boring and not interesting)
"Tommy"- 11/10 (this album is perfect if you ask me)

Badmoon 05-06-2004 06:15 PM

What did you think of the movie? (if you saw it)

My friend tells me it's good, but I haven't got around to seeing it yet.

:(

Badmoon 05-06-2004 06:25 PM

^ It's odd but very interesting. It leaves you wondering a lot, but so does the album. It includes each member of The Who, Eric Clapton, Tina Turner, Elton John, and it is supposebly Jack Nicholson's first movie he starred in also. I personally love it.

jimmypumpkin 05-06-2004 06:28 PM

Cool, I'm deffinately going to rent\buy it one of these days.

Yeah, my friend mentioned that it was somewhat odd aswell. But I loved the movie version of "The Wall", so I don't think that will be a problem.
